Alexandria Mediterranean Cuisine

Being plant based is difficult enough but add in a few other allergies and eating out gets tough. We lucked into Alexandria and we couldn't be happier! The service was excellent, they paid attention to our list of no's and brought us back this beautiful sampler. It was so good we ordered a second one! We also came back the next day. It's by far the best food I've had during our stay in the Seattle area.

A year ago, my family and I decided to give this restaurant a try since we were fasting and it seemed nice for iftar. We had called in and asked for a reservation and they had told us they have a first come first serve policy. We arrived there about 20 minutes before iftar with little to no people inside the restaurant and they served us soup 15 minutes after we had arrived. We ordered 2 simple sandwiches and 4 plates. 45 minutes later and only 1 sandwich with 2 plate had been served. We had kindly reminded them twice that half our orders have not been delivered and they brushed it off and ignored us. After 1 hour our order still weren’t complete, leaving half of us only eating a small bowl of soup for iftar. They tried to charge us for the orders that weren’t served. We paid for the orders we ate and left. Today, we gave them another chance since we assumed they at least changed in the slightest. We got there early as well this time with only one table other than us. People quickly crowded the restaurant for iftar which is typical. All other tables got served dates and soup as an appetizer and a fast breaker. After 20 minutes of waiting, they said they ran out of dates and were cooking the soup. We left and found a better decent restaurant. I don’t recommend going to this place at all, especially for the month of Ramadan.

Reallly disappointed! We have been there few years ago but looks like management changed. They do not serve customers water and only sell bottles water! That is really awful for the environment and have never in my life been to a restaurant that doesn’t offer guest water. They served plastic fork in set of 3 we never used the plastic knife or spoon so that also went into the landfill! Very sad for the environment. Food was really small portion and expensive. I was expecting my falafel salad to be a full salad with falafel on top but it was very little salad some falafel and very little hummus for 15 bucks. Food taste was mediocre nothing great so we won’t be going back.

I had a big graduation party for my son and this was the first time we decided to do outside catering which was kind of worrisome, however, with the service and quality and the quantity of food that Alexandria provided, everyone at the party was happy and enjoyed the delicious food.
