Ming Cheng Restaurant

Horrible way of presenting food. We order four different items. I had veg fried rice. I’d rate it 3/5. We have an order for hot and sour soup. The quantity was ridiculously small for the main course. Schezwan chicken had no chicken in it. Prices online differed from prices at the place. They were upped by 1 dollar. Chopsey was missing in one dish. Taste was so bland especially the soup. Felt like puking. We had to trash out a lot of food. Price to portion is very bad. Who in the world packs juicy food in a foam container? It leaked inside their paper bags. Hot food in foam containers..they are killing their customers Since it was a takeout, I cannot comment on the personnel hospitality. No way I will visit this place again. This is the worst place I’ve been to since 11 months of my stay in the US

Order fried chicken wings and maybe got there 15 mins after I was supposed to pick it up. Watched her take it out the fryer (okay cool). However, tasting it once I got home, disgusting, like the oil hasn’t been changed in months. So many feathers on the wings I had to pull out and the watered down unflavored cup of duck sauce. I bought 10 pieces and threw away 5. I was so disappointed. I didn’t think it was gonna be that bad.

I was doing my laundry at the laundry mat next-door and seen that there was a Chinese restaurant so I went in there to get some food and I placed an order of white rice Fried rice and two spring rolls. I ate my rice first and as I got halfway through I found three bugs in three different pieces of rice. I went inside and I showed the man inside the bugs in the food and he confirmed that there was bugs. I asked them for a refund and as soon as I did that they started getting all snotty with me. Telling me that they were only going to give me a partial refund because I ate half my rice and one of the spring rolls, Then I told the lady that I want a full refund because I’m not going to eat the rest of the food and I already ate food that was contaminated with bugs in it. After I told her that I wanted a free refund she started screaming at me in Chinese and I do not understand Chinese so they really could’ve been saying anything. As soon as she gets started to get disrespectful with me her husband joined her and started yelling to and her son that works there was threatening to come on the other side of the counter and fight me because we wouldn’t leave without a refund. I wouldn’t even feed this food to a homeless person I definitely would not recommend it to anyone Thinking about going there. This was the most disrespectful experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Please stay far far away from this place unless you want to eat bugs.

Used to be my go-to Chinese takeout place. Went in last night to pick up dinner. The place had a “sewage backup odor”. Our food was awful, we actually threw it away. Between the smell, the rudeness of the woman taking the order and handing you the food and the substandard quality of the food, we will not be going back there. I need to find a better takeout Chinese restaurant.

The restaurant was clean and quiet. The food was fresh and full of flavor. The service was great. No BS or small talk which I respect. I don't know why the people in the reviews below mine went in and expected to be catered to like the president. Do you realize how hard it is to come to the US, open a business and learn the language? Give them a break. To the person below that bashed the kid behind the counter for staring at them when they were ordering. Where do you want him to look? The ceiling? His phone? He was being attentive and made sure nothing got lost in translation. He did his job well.
