Wonderful atmosphere, very cosy and cute. Lovely owner who is very welcoming and funny. Had the most delicious butternut squash soup. Brilliant food, fair prices and a really homely feel. I'd highly recommend and I would certainly come back again
Well… I can say is I am most definitely not a soup person! However when I walked in I could not say not to the smell of the delicious soup! And let me tell you it did not disappoint at all! If your wondering whether to eat her do not hesitate the owner is lovely and kind and works hard for what she does which is an amazing atmosphere to be around. There where three of us eating in total and none of us left dissatisfied with two of us having the soup and one a toastie! 🥰
I love visiting Mrs Fs. It's a really quirky and cosy place and the coffee here is some of the best you'll find in Keswick. It's small and friendly so you'll likely find yourself wanting to come back, as I do.
To be honest, I haven't eaten a meal here but the cakes and scones are fantastic. The soup of the day smells amazing but I can't say I've had any.
Certainly my favourite cafe at this end of Keswick and I fully expect to be back here again soon.
Fab place, lovely warm atmosphere, service with a smile, love the tough and cheek. walls of wonder to the eyes delight. And let's not forget the most important part the food or should I say GF cake wow 😍 😋. Great way to start our adventure in Keswick. Thank you 😊
I cannot emphasise how brilliant this place is and 'Mrs F' who runs it. We dropped in here for a quick tea and cake. Myself and the better half both had the tea and scone with jam and clotted cream. What a scone it was! Made by the owner freshly day of, and it was the best scone I've eaten to this day. 'Mrs F' was a great laugh, running around making sure everyone was happy and enjoying their time there. Cracking a few jokes as she went. Honestly don't hesitate to visit this place! It is a little small in terms of space but would be worth the wait 10x over if you have time. Also dog friendly :)
Thank you Mrs F
We were on a search for a nice place for scones mid-afternoon - and Mrs F's went beyond all expectations. The scones - homemade in the true meaning - and probably the best we've ever tasted. Tea and coffee was also delicious. Mrs F's as a location is unique and special with a magical atmosphere. It's described as off the beaten tourist track, which it lives up to in all the best ways and testimony to the energy and creativity of it's wonderful owner. Feel so lucky to have found this gem and we had the best time here and look forward to next visits. Sending a warm hug to Mrs F!
Stumbled across this lovely cafe whilst in Keswick during a rainy day. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was home cooked, authentic and well priced. It felt cosy and warm and we didn’t want to leave. I’d recommend the sticky toffee pudding cake - best piece of cake I’ve had in ages and I eat a lot of cake! Coffee was brilliant too. Loved the ambience and fab music! We shall return.
Stopped in here with friends after a long hike and so glad we did - soup amazing, scones amazing, cakes amazing, tea amazing - they also have pies and toasties which looked amazing!
The best part though was the welcome and chatting with the owner so rare to meet someone that really owns their place and their space, I'll say it again...amazing!, An absolute must go in Keswick for me from now on.
Visited Mrs Fs yesterday with some friends after long walk up Cat Bells. We could not have wished for a more enjoyable afternoon. Not only was the food fantastic, especially the scones which you have to get, but we were treated to some incredibly hospitality by Simone. We had such a laugh so if you are ever in Keswick looking for a cafe then you have to go here.
Definitely the best tea shop in Keswick. Mrs F is the perfect host. Great cuppa and pukka scones. Highly recommended.
