After a long day of sightseeing around Keswick, we stopped by The Kingfisher for a late lunch – and it was exactly what we needed! …
Huge portions that even filled up my teenagers. Delicious with great service. We ate upstairs in the restaurant but there is a takeaway on main floor. Glad we got there early before it got busy!
We stopped by for lunch on route to Buttermere and truly enjoyed our time there. We were welcomed by a friendly team, who also shared with us the background of Keswick. Great food, big portion and lovely atmosphere.
Had the pensioners special which was excellent. Piping hot when it came with a generous pot of tea. I saw someone having the large fish n chips which seemed to be a huge plateful. Nice friendly service in a traditional setting. Try it.
