Very clean rooms, very friendly staff, great location, and very dog friendly and our dogs got fussed over a lot! Food was fabulous, and just all around excellent value for money. Would definitely would stay there again.
Stayed here for a long weekend recently and it was fantastic. Staff are all so friendly and helpful - an absolute credit to whoever trains/guides them all. The hotel itself is ideally situated for walks and has it's own jetty area, with regular ferry trips to Keswick. The food is excellent too. We h

The Mary mount hotel is at a perfect location around Derwentwater, close to a lot of hiking routes and bus links. Room was big and clean. The bed was so comfortable that it was hard to get up in the morning. The restaurant serves really good food with a decent vegan/vegetarian selection. Staff is fr
Provided a much needed & appreciated pit stop during a walk round the lake. The food was delicious with very generous portions & we were able to eat amidst a stunning backdrop. The only minor downside is that the drinks weren't great - the pepsi/coke was completely flat and warm

Stayed here one night in a dog friendly room. The location of this hotel is perfect, the views are unbelievable and the hotel literally backs onto Derwent Water so loads of walks on the door step. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly, however the room was relatively small (considering it wa

Had a wonderful weekend here it's in a fabulous location with beautiful views. The rooms are basic but very clean. We had a meal in the hotel restaurant, the chicken stuffed with black pudding was cold and dry, and the fondant sweet potato was very undercooked and hard, but the steak and ale pie wa
We stayed 2 nights in a Standard Double Room with breakfast included for a good price. The room was a decent size with a lovely view of Derwentwater and Catbells. We had a brilliant stay. The hotel is beautifully located in the Borrowdale valley right on the shores of Derwent Water. Super evening meal and breakfast and a great room with stunning mountain views. Look forward to staying again one day.
Stopped for Sunday lunch whilst on a flying visit to Keswick, the food was lovely, I guess my only moan would be that it was £25 for Sunday lunch, which equated to a small lamb shank, 2 roast potatoes, 2 roasted carrots, 2 roasted parsnips, some red cabbage and a Yorkshire pudding (spelt yourshire p
