Best butcher's in Keswick. With a tremendous selection of homemade pies and home cooked meats, you'll may have trouble making up your mind on what to buy. Their homemade Cumberland sausage has to be best there is, and they also make it Gluten Free. Try their chicken Kiev and the homemade burgers.
The Cumberland sausages were one of the best things about our trip to Keswick.
I missed the opportunity to buy loads to bring home.
If only they did a delivery to Oxford.
The only place my lads let me shop in Cumbria! Rang an order through the day before and you kindly made up 1.5kg of chicken curry fresh for us plus all the other protein. Top quality shop, produce, service. Brilliantly run by the brothers. Many thanks all!

Looking for a top draw homemade pie after a lap round the North and South loops of whinlatter forest, I wasn't disappointed. Steak and stilton Pie was delicious, it didn't make it back to the car, excellent friendly service from the bald guy on the counter aswell. 10/10!
Nice people and great food. It's not just their selection of meat which is very good (look out for their black pudding sausages!) but also their range of cook/chill (seafood pie is very good as is the lasagne). A particular favourite of mine is their breakfast pies (sausage, bacon, black pudding and baked beans in a gorgeous pastry) which is heavenly, especially if re-heated.
If you want good quality food,be it raw meat or something from the deli,then come here.The pies and pre prepared food are fantastic,plus the banter from the staff.Lovely shop and a must to buy from every time we are in Don't bother with anyone else,come here.PS leave some of the sausages for me.
Highly recommend this butcher. Very clean establishment with superb quality meats. Frindly staff helped me decide what I wanted, and was very engaging and teaching me cumbrian words. Yes, he knew I was a tourist. The rib eye steaks are the best we ever had, and we thought OUR butcher near Leeds was (and is) fantastic but we have never tas ted rib eye steaks to rival these ones. If it wasn't so far (2.5hrs) for us to go to Keswick I would go here every week. Really, fabulous quality. Try it! Bring some home and taste the difference!
Bought a dozen Cumberland sausages, pork pies, steak pies and an apple pie. All perfect, no grissle, no fat, natural fresh tasting, with a nice pastry casing.
Wish I took a photo before we ate them all up.
Next time I'm in Keswick will try their scotch striploin steak.
Amazing butchers - always go there for our food when we arrive at Keswick in our Motorhome. Rump steak and whole chicken this week- best we’ve ever had. Keep up the good work .
Everytime we go to Keswick we always shop in here....I take an extra cool bag with me and bring back Cumberland sausages.chicken and mushroom pies and ribeye steak is amazing.we order in the week and it's all ready for us to collect the day we go home. Very friendly staff....thanks guys
