A wonderful find on our travel to the village of my husbands gt grandfather. Just down the road from the thatched cottage where he lived.
Although fully booked we were able to sit outside to eat our lunch. The staff were very attentive and lovely. The food was sublime and extremely reasonably priced.
We would not hesitate to recommend The Old Forge Tea Room

Had the most amazing breakfast. The thickness of the bread shows they give what you pay for. The English breakfast cooked to perfection. And a decent sausage and bacon clearly they know how to make customers come back. Plenty of customers as the food is very good. I asked for my yokes to be runny and come as requested. Schweppes orange juice in bottle so super fresh. Staff are respectful and a check up that the food was to our satisfaction. Very very happy.

Dropped in randomly on our way back to Birmingham and I have to say this place is amazing! Firstly, the staff were incredibly friendly, chatty and welcoming. The atmosphere was very quaint and cute, and the place was bustling busy. The food came quickly and was stacked full on huge plates. Everything was fabulous and it was a great lunch. Drop by if you have the chance.
