The Old Forge - Kettering - Photo album

A wonderful find on our travel to the village of my husbands gt grandfather. Just down the road from the thatched cottage where he lived. Although fully booked we were able to sit outside to eat our lunch. The staff were very attentive and lovely. The food was sublime and extremely reasonably pri
Great find.. beautiful building. Friendly staff, excellent home cooked food. I enjoyed a relaxed lunchtime treat.
What an amazing find. This wonderful tea room has amazing food, staff and picturesque English old forge barn setting. You can sit outside in the sun or inside the cosy stoned wall barn. Their cake selection is fantastic and the host is very welcoming and makes you feel at ease. There's a great kid
Visited for breakfast. Food was great. Staff very friendly. Really nice place. Well worth a visit.
Lovely cafe, great coffee and amazing gluten free cake! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place for a wallet-friendly lunch and coffee break!
Had the most amazing breakfast. The thickness of the bread shows they give what you pay for. The English breakfast cooked to perfection. And a decent sausage and bacon clearly they know how to make customers come back. Plenty of customers as the food is very good. I asked for my yokes to be runny an
Absolutely wonderful food and service. See you soon
Arguably make the best coffee I’ve had in the area 10/10 review Love to pop in before school run
Stopped here for another delicious lunch & was able to sit outside for once as the weather was so nice. Vegetarians and gluten free catered for - in fact the majority of the amazing cakes are gf. I had the gf savoury tart with homemade coleslaw (pictured) & the Devil's food cake (gf) with cream (pic
Dropped in randomly on our way back to Birmingham and I have to say this place is amazing! Firstly, the staff were incredibly friendly, chatty and welcoming. The atmosphere was very quaint and cute, and the place was bustling busy. The food came quickly and was stacked full on huge plates. Everythin
Too cool. The location is nice, the cosy little building is nice, the staff are nice, the drinks are nice, the food is nice. Experienced in this order. Drawbacks such as the parking are easily overlooked with how comfortable everything here is. Do try and visit earlier in the day as the tables fill
This place is lovely, the breakfast (formidable) is really nice and you get enough food for the price. Drinks are good, too. Definitely recommend a visit but also recommend booking first. The staff are great and attentive. The only issue is due to the building being very old, and they're not able to
Really Great Tea Room to visit plenty of variety on the menu Staff really friendly and helpful. We stopped on our way back home following a short break and was really pleased Highly recommend a visit here
What’s not to love? Delicious reasonably priced home cooked food (including amazing freshly made cakes), friendly staff, lovely atmosphere in a historic building. This place is a gem and we return again and again because we love it. It has a book swap, baby changing facilities and is clearly a much
First time eating here yesterday. We booked for lunch for four adults and one child. The service and atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish, we all enjoyed the food, lots of choice on the menu and the children's menu went down a treat too! Thank you for a delightful afternoon we will be back
Very nice, hot day, sunshine and good food, lovely coffee, good service.
Lovely place and very friendly staff even when we left without paying . We did go back and pay when we realised what we had done .
Went for some lunch on a Friday afternoon. I think we were the youngest in there by at least 50 years! Nevertheless, we were served by lovely ladies who were on the ball. We had soup, wrap and a ploughman's which were presented nicely and very yummy. Prices are good too so hope to visit again at
