Stumbled on this little gem on our way home from Wales having typed in farm coffee shop on A14. Wonderful scones and a great little setting within other units

Stopped for a lunch time snack which I enjoyed sitting outside with my dog. Staff are great and although I had to wait a while for my food as the place was busy, it was just nice to relax after a fairly fast walk round the nearby park.
The Fox & Peony does a great job, provides good service and the food offering is basic but well prepared and presented.

We held a surprise baby shower when the cafe was closed for private functions. The staff were so lovely and very accommodating, even helping us to ensure that the surprise went smoothly!
We all had the afternoon tea which I think everyone enjoyed. There was plenty of food with many of us taking home the leftovers. I'm vegan and the vegan afternoon was absolutely delicious - one of the best I've had!
It's probably worth noting that the car park is quite bumpy so just bare that in mind for those who experience mobility issues.
Would not hesitate to recommend, thank you for a lovely visit.

Food is excellent though service was a little slow considering there were only approximately 8 people in there. However i would definitely recommend. Great selection of homemade cakes etc. Parking was adequate however my disabled friend struggled a little with the pot holes in the car park. Definitely give it a go everyone
