Stopped for a lunch time snack which I enjoyed sitting outside with my dog. Staff are great and although I had to wait a while for my food as the place was busy, it was just nice to relax after a fairly fast walk round the nearby park.
The Fox & Peony does a great job, provides good service and the food offering is basic but well prepared and presented.
Our first visit (we were recommended by a frequent visitor). A tasty range of light snacks on the menu with lots of choice. The food was served promptly and with a smile. A cosy place for a light-bite! Thank-you! πππππ - Steve, Ann and Sue
We held a surprise baby shower when the cafe was closed for private functions. The staff were so lovely and very accommodating, even helping us to ensure that the surprise went smoothly!
We all had the afternoon tea which I think everyone enjoyed. There was plenty of food with many of us taking home the leftovers. I'm vegan and the vegan afternoon was absolutely delicious - one of the best I've had!
It's probably worth noting that the car park is quite bumpy so just bare that in mind for those who experience mobility issues.
Would not hesitate to recommend, thank you for a lovely visit.
Stumbled on this little gem on our way home from Wales having typed in farm coffee shop on A14. Wonderful scones and a great little setting within other units

Food is excellent though service was a little slow considering there were only approximately 8 people in there. However i would definitely recommend. Great selection of homemade cakes etc. Parking was adequate however my disabled friend struggled a little with the pot holes in the car park. Definitely give it a go everyone

An excellent experience. Brilliant foxy bap (bacon, sausage and egg) a nice hot flat white and some cake to take home.
A lovely range of cakes and slices which were good portions. The quality was excellent. Freshly ground coffee was tasty without any bitterness and was perfect for sitting out in the sunshine. Especially great service from staff that care to make sure your visit is a good one.
Went for tea and cake with friends. Prettily decorated cafe with a good range of menu items, mostly baps, paninis, sandwiches and cakes. Our cakes were very tasty. Reasonable prices, although we didn't know that until we paid, as no prices for food on the menu, only drinks. Booking recommended.
Another delicious afternoon tea. Good with food allergies, just felt the sweet options were a little chocolate heavy this time and not enjoyed as much as the previous visit.
Dogs allowed. Good coffee and selection of cakes and other food choices. Not big but worth a visit.

Lovely staff and tucked away in a great location on the edge of town. We were welcomed in quickly, the weather had turned that morning so it was very cold. I don't think the heating plans had been sorted as yet so we kept our coats on. The Foxy Bap was lovely, hot and delicious. Coffee not so good, but then I was in the coffee trade, the milk frothing needs some work to deliver a correct Latte or Capp to be honest. Happy to carry out a Free training session :-)
