I had my 40th birthday party here, with 12 members of my family. It was busy a day for them as they were fully booked but they still made it special! Thank you guys for a lovely birthday meal!

This is a beautiful pub/restaurant. From the front terraces, to hotel reception and the dining room, just lovely. We ate in the dining room that is decorated with beautiful floral prints (the garden room?). The whole room, furniture, layout, artwork was all gorgeous. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was a charming young man that couldn't be more helpful. The prices were fair and portions very generous and the food was beautifully plated up. I gave the food 4 stars instead of 5 because the potatoes were not crispy and the vegetables were slightly soggy, other than that my Sunday roast was very nice, and served with a huge Yorkshire pudding. The sausages were tasty, as was the Cesar salad, and gazpacho. I would happily go back - I wish this restaurant was closer to where I live!

Delightful place to stay! Comfortable rooms, clean, quiet, fun pub/restaurant and good food. The staff were friendly and always helpful. Great location for Kew Gardens and easy public transport for Richmond. Highly recommend and plan to stay there again when we're next in Richmond.

Love this place. Really warm feel the second you walk in. We've been here a couple of times since having a baby and they're only too accommodating to prams etc. High chairs available. Lots of different rooms such as dining room, library for group meet ups, outside space, and more relaxed area by the bar. Nice variety on the menu. Car park and garden at rear.

Dropped in for lunch, but didn't want full roast dinner so ordered the camanbert share platter. Just perfect for a light lunchtime snack. The place was cool on a 31c day and the service was lovely. Beer was great. Wanted to book for an evening meal was informed that the kitchen shut 5pm sharp on a Sunday, fair enough everyone is a loud some down time. Would recommend and will go back.

The Coach and Horses exceeded my expectations. The staff are exemplary, enthusiastic, professional and look as if they're enjoying their work. Being very near to Kew Gardens, the decor is very much in keeping without being overdone. There's a great range of drinks and excellent food. Nothing is too much trouble and the service is delivered with grace. You can eat informally in the bar or the small library and there's a beautiful dining room called the Atrium which has magnificent botanical prints around the walls. Very highly recommended.

I had the Beef Roast on Father’s Day and was blown away by how delicious it was. My partner and children had fish and chips and the beef burgers. I could write a separate review on how tasty the chips/fries are. Great selection in the bar with someThe atmosphere was great and our server Chloe was friendly and enthusiastic (even at the end of a busy Father’s Day). All in all we were rather impressed.

If I could stay here forever, I would. This place is so cute, and the customer service is excellent. Everything is clean and updated, the bed is comfy & they offer complimentary coffee, tea & homemade biscuits in our room. The mini fridge is STOCKED & while some items require payment, they are not too expensive (ex: Popcorn is less than I'd pay for it at Tesco or similar.) Breakfast in bed is £17.50 even for a Full Monty. It was delicious. We had an excellent dinner upon arrival. My fiance had the trout with Broccolini & and potatoes. I had the dry aged steak with thick fries & a side of broccolini as well. Everything was cooked perfectly, we had two drinks & paid £61 which I thought was a great deal, especially given the large portions. The bathroom has full-size hand soap, body lotion, bubble bath, shampoo, and conditioner, and they actually smell good & FEEL good. The bath tub is actually large enough for me to submerge my entire body (I'm 5'10") instead of either my upper body or my lower body. It was so nice to get warm after traveling in the cold weather (it was ~3⁰C/37⁰F upon arrival). The location is great, right across from a big pretty church and small grassy parks. It's also right near Kew Gardens for anyone looking to do a bit of tourism (like me). Overall, this little place makes big efforts to make you feel at home for an affordable price. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely stay here again when we return to England.

Lovely pub and hotel. Stayed for one night. Bed was comfy shower was excellent and the rooms were clean but the bathroom seemed to have a little damp as the board behind the sink was swollen and flaking. Food was fantastic and not too expensive. In good walking distance of Kew underground and Kew Gardens entrance. I loved the little touches of book stacks in the rooms.
