Lovely chip shop and great food. Can be busy and you can be queuing for a while but that's the problem with having a good popular chip shop but it's also a good thing.

Called in today while travelling through and on holiday. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Freshly cooked fish and chips. This really was the best we've eaten in a long time! Good sized portions and very reasonably priced. Took it down to the canal to eat. The staff kindly allowed us to park outside their premises while we did so.

Honestly the best chips I've ever had. We tried the battered chips for the first time and they tasted amazing, the portion size was very generous, great quality.
The staff were extremely friendly and really helpful with us asking questions about the food. 100% recommend if you are in the area.
Definitely ask for battered chips, they are amazing, cooked in vegetable oil, they batter is made of flour and water, its a very light, crispy batter.

A gem of a find. If you're visiting nearby deffo worth a visit for a Friday night fish n chip supper. But not just for that - a great selection of pies & kebab meats too. And not forgetting the option of battered chip!! Great value too.
