Wow! The staff went above and beyond and they were soooo nice. Not been here in a few years and it's most definitely changed for the better. Rather busy but not overly so, really good atmosphere, I'll have to go back when they have entertainment on.
I love the Cavalier always have since the first time i came to this pub everyone's really friendly pub service is great food service is lovely base on what I said the Cavalier is the best pub on Offmore No doubt ❤☝️👐💯

Don't be put off by the exterior! Yes, it's dated. Yes, the carpark needs resurfacing but once you get inside you forget that. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. The menu is extensive and the food very good. We will be back.
Absolutely fantastic meal here a few weeks ago. The new menu is really good, with plenty of choice for everyone. I chose the chilli salmon and really enjoyed it. The halloumi fries were the best I've ever eaten.

Ben said he could make any item on the menu ‘vegan friendly’ and we were not disappointed! We ordered the ‘chicken’ mushroom and onion ciabatta with chips and even had a choice of vegan desserts!! Thank you to Ben and his team for being so accommodating. We will definitely be ordering again. 👍🏻
Ate here with a fairly large group today, first time eating here, we all had dofferent meals, loaded fries, burger, mixed grill, fajitas and more, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the service was also very good, lovely people. Will definitely be going back!
Had a fabulous meal here with all the family, as a pre-Christmas treat. From the moment we arrived, Ben and his team made us very welcome and the table was perfectly set for our celebration. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, excellent quality and value. Will definitely be coming back

Having forgot to take the stuff out of the freezer on Saturday for my Sunday Lunch, I decided i would try to order a Sunday lunch at noon on Sunday for delivery! I wasnt very hopeful to find anything but came across The Cavalier on Deliveroo so thought i'd give it a go.

Went with my family for Sunday Lunch. Absolutely fantastic, excellent food, friendly staff and a really good atmosphere. The food is beyond what is normally expected of pub lunch. Well done to the whole team.
Friendly local pub within walking distance which is always nice. The food is only served till 7pm Monday to Saturday but the prices are reasonable. You can buy a bottle for less than £10. Richard, the landlord is a nice, chatty sort. Too many dogs in there for my liking but then I am allergic...ther
