Found this little gem by chance, and what a find. Recently taken over by new management. The decor was welcoming and comforting, with very nice leather sofa's and armchairs, amongst other tables and chairs. with a nice out door area included at the rear of the pub. We had an afternoon lunch which was of high quality at a very decent price. Staff was very pleasant too.
A must visit, one which we will certainly be returning too soon.

A fantastic place that has now changed its name to, "The Post House". The service, food and drink were all brilliant. Our group contained 2 members who have food intolerances and the staff couldn't have been more knowledgeable or helpful, they modified dishes to allow everyone to have a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Really impressed. Hadn't been for years. Really liked the refurb, which is excellent. The food was decent quality, with loads of chips which makes a change thesedays. Staff friendly and helpful. On the whole I was impressed.

We had an excellent meal. The food was first class. They obviously have a brilliant chef. The front of house staff were friendly and very polite. I don't hesitate in giving it 5*'s. Don't miss out get in and have great food and drink.

Recently refurbished and reopened. Pleasant and efficient staff and lovely bright interior. Nice selection of beers and lagers

Fantastic venue on Thursday nights for kareoke with dj stu everybody just wanting to have fun .we also found out that the disabled toilets have never been broke and are fully working and they were using it for storage . So has disabled entrance too .
Hope this place does well will be back again Thursday.
