Come here all the time ,lovely food as always. But today new girl in shop appears to be on something and always messing by till. WATCH HER.Other staff are amazing as always.

I'm sure that I am not alone in judging a chip shop by how much is left on the top shelf, simultaneously sweating and drying out, under a climate crisis inducing heat lamp...
No such problems here, even the chips were straight out of the fryer. Don't be put off, I've waited far longer for a pint of Guinness, with a shamrock pattern on the head, than we had to wait here, and boy was it worth it?.. Best chips this side of Shrewsbury!.. That's another story.
Staff that I could see were all friendly, and without meaning to be inappropriate, beautiful.
More importantly, the shadowy figure lurking behind the fryers is a master of their craft, and my only regret is that the place was closed before the match, because I could have easily coped with double helpings... Just like Shrewsbury.

Just had comfortably the best fish and chips I've had since moving to the Midlands. Portions reasonable, food delicious, pricing fair, service quick (just make sure you stick to the one way system in place and don't wait outside once youve made your order :p).
