Cookley Village Hall

Cookley club is without a doubt the best village social club you can find. It's modern design looks amazing in the edge of the village overlooking the magnificent Worcestershire countryside. The facilities are superb. Bar area with glass walls to look out, huge function room, other rooms used by different people. If you like sports the main room has 4 TV on the wall. As a private club you must join but get a discount on food and drink. This place is excellent with the outdoor facilities.

A clean tidy place, with plenty of access for children to play to the rear of the club, plus a rough pathway leading to the canal. The short walk to the right along the towpath taking you to Cookley and the longer walk to the left taking you to the Lock at Wolverley. One can return via the road. The road from Wolverley is rarely used as it is blocked off due to road subsidence, but foot access is fine. If not a member the drinks prices are typical of the area. If a member cheaper, but only if you intend to go there a number of times. Normally have cobs, ices and savoury snacks. Car parking good, this is an ideal place to park the car whilst entertaining the children at not too high a cost. Restricted opening hours Monday to Wednesday (?).
