Visited recently for dinner. The restaurant is under new management and there’s a change of kitchen and waiting staff. This can only be a good thing from previous experience. Food was excellent, service was very efficient and friendly. Specifically Kerry, the manager, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and supportive of the staff that are training. Can see that this place is going to be excellent under her management. Will be returning regularly. Thanks again.
After checking in to Premier Inn we decided to see if the on-site Beefeater could accommodate us. We had a brief wait before our table was ready. The food and drinks were great. Succulent steak and triple cooked chips, cooked to perfection. Dessert was apple pie with a generous serving of custard. First rate.
Another guest explained to us that you can order and dine in the bar area.
Faultless. Really friendy, food was great and restaurant clean and bright.
So much food took a rack of ribs home to the dog.
Had a lovely family meal here at the weekend. The restaurant was clean and tidy, staff welcoming, and the food was really good. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Booked on spur of the moment by turning up at the restaurant. No problem. Upgraded our Premier inn deal to the meal and breakfast deal which was worth it.
Food was piping hot, lovely and tasty and drink option was great too.
Service from our waiter Tristan was excellent, he was very attentive, patient and friendly throughout. 100% recommend. We have normally looked for something else rather than eat at the Premier Inn restaurants in the eve but this has changed everything.
And they were short staffed but you would never have realised.

We had a lovely experience this evening. The best ever at this venue.
Service was prompt with multiple members of staff serving our table at various points during the evening. Unlike some previous visits the staff seemed happy to be there and were very friendly.
I asked if I could swap the fries that came with my steak for the rice side and this was done without any extra charge.
The only issue was one where the set meal price was different between the website, the set menu card and the card on the table. However, this was promptly rectified with no quibbles.
My partner signed up for the beefeater card and a member kindly went to find one so that the visits spend could be added to the card.
The staff were lovely and friendly. The food took a long time to come out but when it did it was very nice.

I hesitated to give this review 4 stars as the food was really disappointing. But I want to say that the service more than made up for it.
We got in around 630 on 16 Mar. Got our food orders in around 15 mins later but only had our food arrive around 730pm. While waiting, we heard the table behind us complain about his steak behind overly cooked so I kept my fingers crossed.
I would give the medium rare sirloin steak an A* as it was exceptionally well done. 😭
On the upside, the fries were at least hot, compared to the half hot and half cold sweet potato fries that my friend got with his meal.
Ultimately, the saving grace for the entire meal was Shannon, our lovely host. She was constantly watching out for us and even offered to replace my steak, which I said no (only because I really didn't want to wait another hour). We had a nice chat with Shannon who remained super professional and cheerful despite taking a lot of hits from the guests. (I definitely heard 2 other complaints from other tables around us.)
I will be coming back for Shannon's impeccable service. But the kitchen really needs to improve the quality of their food.
This place has certainly changed since the last time I was here and for the better. Apart from the rejects of Ali G's crew working in the desert kitchen swearing within earshot of my 4 year old, the servers were exceptional and the food was genuinely cooked to perfection. I would happily bring my family here again
Absolutely no complaints about this place. We had an MX5 meeting there they let us have a big table and we all managed to get round it. The food came quickly enough as there was quite a few of us. I really enjoyed my meal. The service was very good and the staff were very pleasant.
