Wonderful pub, excellent food, fabulous staff! What a gem in a great little town!
Great pub in a little village... Great food..Recommend Pie & Chips...and plenty of it....Will go back
Driven past here a few times since arriving 5 days ago and decided to try out the woodfired pizza this evening. Only available Mon & Weds from 6pm. Made on site and can be eaten in the pub or taken away. All staff very helpful and had a nice chat with the locals whilst waiting for the pizza. They were absolutely amazing. Very tasty, fresh ingredients, freshly cooked. Well worth a try if you are in the area.
A fantastic afternoon having a couple of beers with the locals. We popped in to see if there was food available, there wasn’t but the local real ale and the banter with the locals made up for that. Our dog Darcy was made welcome and was given treats with the pubs dog. A wonderful couple of hours chatting and laughing with the locals and the landlady. Great local Welsh beer and great company, we’ll visit again when we come back!
Just called in for a couple of drinks on a wet and windy Saturday night. Good beer and wine, and a chilled atmosphere.
Went for pizza on Wednesday, amazing!
Morretti beautiful pint! Sat in garden. Lovely friendly place
Only been there for 'music night ', first Thursday, which has great atmosphere
Lovely meal and friendly people. We took our dogs too. Very nice. We had scampi and chips and sticky toffee pudding. It was lovely.
Very nice old pub with a very pleasant landlady

Warm, welcoming and Dog friendly.
Came in for a drink and something to eat whilst away on Holiday in the area.
Unfortunately they weren't serving food due to only recently reopening, but that didn't stop us enjoying ourselves.
Thanks to the wonderful Sharon behind the bar we ended up staying for a number of hours, even the Dog made himself at home and fell asleep.
Chatted to a couple of lovely people who lived in the village and their four legged friends.
Definitely one of the highlights of our time away and will be high up on the list for next time we are in the area.
This was our first visit to the Mason's Arms. We have passed it and thought it looked cool but not had a chance to pop in. It is a lovely place. Friendly staff and a nice safe feeling with covid safety regs in place. Looking forward to visiting again soon :)
Brilliant food and atmosphere, during the winter months we have got pool and darts and food to die for,. There is a hog roast on Saturday this week, also an auction and raffle in aid of charity.. In aid of alzheimers and dementia. The whole thing was organised by Kris and Roy with a wonderful result. The turn out was excellent, thanks to both of you, brill.
