Lovely old fashioned country pub restaurant. Cozy surroundings, quality, tastefully decorated. Friendly and attentive staff. Wonderful food and not stingy quantities.

Had a wonderful evening meal at Balloo house with my family and was very impressed with the food - my kids ate everything which is amazing. Oh and I had one of the best pints of Guiness there I've ever had. Excellent.

We were recommended to eat here during our visit to Ireland. The restaurant is wonderful, with a warm, old worldly atmosphere. Every staff member was warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was just delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was just the best we've had, ever!

We came here for dinner and it was honestly the best meal I've had in such a long time. I chose the chicken breast for my main and it was delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly as well. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good food and great atmosphere.

Food was very good, loved the salmon. However the people I was eating with didn’t love their dished quite as much and there didn’t seem to be great options, not on the Sunday menu anyways which was when we went.

Loved it! Certainly not the cheapest place but worth the money.
Staff are lovely, really welcoming and helpful. They were awesome.

There are gluten free options available and even better, they have strict precautions when it comes with allergies. The server showed me a system they use for gluten free; they note it down on a special card for the kitchen where they then use a separate area. I couldn't have asked for anything better!

Really lovely place, well worth a journey from Belfast! The food was amazing and very reasonably priced.
The cocktail menu was a little underwhelming and the seasonal specials that were advertised weren’t available, but the few that were on offer were nice.
