Fantastic customer service and all 5 of us, in our party, enjoyed our individual meals.

This is my second time being here. Sorry I ate the lot and forgot to to snap some photos of meals lol. But I managed to get in a few pix of my cappuccino and my dessert - sticky toffee pudding. This is a lovely, cosy warm place to sit. Plenty of seats, some cushions and sofa-like seats. There are 2 big tvs in there too, so if you were wanting to watch football or rugby - which was on when I was there, that might be good. But I was just there to enjoy time with bf, and I did. I had the gorgeous thick lentil soup for starters, bf had potato skins, I had Roast Beef for main and bf had steak pie with puff pastry and both had sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It came to about £55 for all that which is about same price as The Albany I think for a 3 course.

Being from Glasgow, I was really impressed with the variety of cocktails the Greek gentleman behind the bar offered me and my friends. They were top quality and he went out of his way to accommodate us, something I would expect in Merchant City but not in a rural location. He did tell us that he had moved here but I won't insult him by misspelling his name. But a really special thanks to him for bringing a Mediterranean flair and making the atmosphere top quality for me and my pals. We'll definitely be back for a cocktail or two! We didn't eat so can't really give the food a fair review.

Great afternoon tea. Good variety of sandwiches and cakes. More than you could eat. Any leftovers were boxed for taking home. Going there for dinner next month. Looking forward to it.

We went here on a Monday morning while passing. On arrival, staff were very friendly and accommodating. We both ordered the Full Scottish Breakfast, along with a mocha and a fresh orange juice. Food was delicious, could not fault it at all and portion size was very good so we were both comfortably full. Atmosphere, while quiet since it was Monday morning, was very relaxed and welcoming. Would definitely visit again if we were in the area, and would highly recommend.

It was a quiet afternoon we were there. Friendly staff who offered to turn the heating on when part of our party had their coat still on. Top tier food. 100% would recommend.

Managed to get a last minute booking for Mother's Day. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Wasn't sure what to expect from the carvery as it's just a recent addition here but the food was great and everyone in our group enjoyed it. The vegan option was superb and they even allowed us to take away leftovers.

Mothers day 2023. The lovely owner and the manager came to our rescue for lunch for my elderly disabled mother. The staff were fantastic, the food outstanding and the owner and manager went above and beyond for my mother's comfort. Cannot recommend them highly enough. We have always enjoyed meals here but today was really outstanding all round. Thank you all x

Great wee stop along the Cycle path. It has a lovely outdoor seating area. We got hot drinks and they were perfect 👌🏼 The staff were very friendly and I would highly recommend a stop off at Carriages!
