Arrived at the long house, was immediately given a friendly greeting and shown to our table. Ordered our drinks and were left to mull over the menus.
We received our drinks and ordered our meals.
Our meals arrived, lovely presentation. There were 3 dishes ordered. 2 of the 3 were very nice the third was, unfortunately not great tasting. But the management noticed the situation and came over immediately and took the dish away and offered another dish from the menu. The replacement dish came, which totally redeemed the whole evening. I must acknowledge the amazing service from the long house management/ front of house staff. Dessert is a big plus.
The long house is a definite must try.

A home run for The Longhouse! I absolutely loved it. A cosy, less formal version of my favourite restaurant. If Scotts can produce a Tiramisu like The Longhouse they will never ever get rid of me!

Delightful restaurant, beautiful inside,the decor is truly amazing,the staff were so helpful and friendly, spotlessly clean,now to our food what more can I say if my wife and mother in law were not there I would have licked my plate clean,I had a wonderful dinner as did my wife the portions were huge but manageable.

Tried here for the first time as we were in the area and omg 5/5 amazing. Food was delish and my partner didn’t let anything go to waste whether it was a tiny spoonful left on my plate or my daughters plate. Highly recommend and will definitely be back :)
Had a meal on the 28th of October, with friends from over 40 years ago. The restaurant was fantastic, and the food was so tasty ( coconut chilli curry). The staff was always ready to serve. Will spread the word, but I live in Dorset 🤔
We parked across the road at Aldi, Myself, my Wife and her Mum.
We did main meal and dessert, all the food was excellent, the ladies had 2 pink gins and 2 pinot grigio white wines, I had a soft drink, total was £95, the staff were lovely and it is a very nice restaurant inside and out.

Was here a few years ago and was not disappointed. Great place to eat. Very stylish and very popular. The restaurant is beautifully set and it reflects on the meals too. Just visited again recently and I have to add the staff are actually very professional and super friendly. They certainly made our night! Thank You. Top marks again.

The foods always great and the atmosphere to match, service is usually good too, the staff are lovely and very accommodating, the waitress with the missing arm is fantastic :)
Went here for my wifes birthday lunch. To be honest we were let down by another location but to say i am glad it happened would be an understatement.
The service was excellent with nothing too much trouble, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect.
I had a rare steak that was cooked to perfection with a haggis topper that had spot on spices. My wife had the chicken and she relished every bite.
Would highly recommend The Long House to anyone. Will definitely be back in the future.

Service I felt was a little slow as the restaurant was busy. In my opinion could've done with a couple of more staff.
Atmosphere was fine. Beer garden after meal was relaxing and a nice place.
