I haven't been in since it got refurbished. It was dated before. The girl was lovely, who serviced me. It was good.
Spotlessly clean takeaway/sit-in restaurant, with cheerful and friendly staff. Generous portions of well-cooked fish, chips and mushy peas and at reasonable prices. Overall, good value for money.
Genuinely best fish supper I've ever had ...black pudding and big tub of curry sauce was amazing too.

The food this time was not as good as its been in the past. We ate in the haggis was at best warm, fish was okay, chips were very good.
Good wee chippy, got half chicken& couple of fritters,crispy chicken skin (Mmm)and fritters not greasy

This place serves MASSIVE portions. I can never finish it. Regardless, they're great for a chippy and really what else are you looking for?

Amiable staff, great quality food at very reasonable prices. Batter on fish; nice and crispy. They use mattessons smoked sausage, always get mine in batter. Chips and curry sauce really tasty. What a shame they don't deliver out to where we live anymore now. But this is one of the best chip shops in
Good sized portions and the food was really tasty. I had the special fish which was particularly nice. I would happily go back here again.
