I needed somewhere to get some work done and have a breakfast roll, and the staff were really welcoming. Food was great quality and had decent Wi-fi and hot drinks, so I ended up staying for lunch too. Was good to see they cater for kids and families too, a great find. The boss was even in on his day off and said hello.

Picked up a takeaway sweet treat today from the cafe - the Peanut butter and chocolate slice - was GREAT! Best tray bake I've had in ages! Big portion and good value at £2.50

Great central location in the village, the cafe has a very good selection of food and drinks at affordable prices. The cakes are excellent and the shortbread is amazing. The shop is well stocked and has all the essentials. The pottery room at the back is a great use of space and the whole shop just had great sense of community. Well worth a visit.

Very local feel. Only store in the village. Nice little cafe to relax in. Decent drinks, snacks, cakes and food. You can get essentials in the shop and there is a post office too. Also Kevin the owner promotes some local art and crafts

A lovely peaceful lunch stop to enjoy the sun outside and even a few kites flying overhead. A generous amount of freshly made sandwiches and side salad made to order and a great range of freshly prepared cakes too. Very friendly staff provided a warm welcome.

On our trip to the Highlands we stayed at the Kiltarlity Lodges, where they recommended us this lovely coffee shop. Due to the coronavirus, the place was closed but they let us order some scones as we really wanted to try them. They were homemade and delicious! still warm when we collected them and the homemade jams and chutneys they sell are really worth a try :)
