Arrived at 9.59am and missed the full breakfast (kitchen shuts at 10am so fully understandable), and was offered a roll which could be filled with anything left over from the breakfast buffet.... but then they said I could help myself to the leftovers to create a full breakfast, which was very tasty and much welcomed after I'd just finished a 2 hour hike!
They even gave me a discount as not everything that typically comes with the full breakfast was available.
Top notch customer service and very friendly. Oh, and a lovely cup of latte too.
Not great options on the menu but the place was great for family fun and activities.
Such a calming place to have some hot food and drinks. As the restaurant located by the Loch Insh, the view was stunning as we visited and stay for sunset viewing.
You may want to do some activities there but it was limited during Winter and plenty of choices during Summer I suppose. There is also a place to stay there if you prefer to do so.
In the restaurant I ordered Mac and Cheese with Garlic Bread which was nice. Falafel & Hummus Panini was so so good, crispy panini, sweet and savory of the sauce from caramelized red onion. Not to mention the hot chocolate with cream on the top, a perfect winter drink.
Make a stop and stay for a while, you won’t regret it!
Spectacular views over the Loch. Lovely friendly staff and a really warm atmosphere. The food was a little limited but well cooked and well presented. Well worth a visit
What a beautiful spot to have breakfast. They had just had 100 children in for breakfast when we arrived, so were still recovering from that. But the staff were super friendly, helpful and made us a really tasty lovely breakfast. Great start to the day.
Small hiccup with my order but they were very apologetic and all was fine. Seems fewer choices these days than before but everyone is struggling for kitchen staff to be able to give options.
We'll be back September though so hope they have a nice warming chilli and baked potato on the menu 😁
Went there for lunch during a holiday . Parking is an issue with the adjacent one being full. Had to go around to the overflow car park behind. Staff were kind and helpful despite the place being busy. Decent food.
Weather was terrible but the boathouse was warm and inviting , the staff happy and helpful and the food delightful. Greatplace
Beautiful location with gigantic picture windows making the most of a magnificent view. Tasty family friendly food from a simple menu.
Stunning scenery here, great food at the cafe. Good atmosphere, service was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful.
