Liquor & Loaded

We visited Liquor and Loaded a couple of weeks ago and had an amazing meal there. The portions are generous (though can take a while to arrive) and there is a decent selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to chose from. We skipped starters as we did not know what portions would be like, and we are glad that we did - the burger (The Sinner) and sides that I ordered could have fed a small army - and the waffle stack my partner ordered, she struggled to get even half way through. Needless to say, because of this we were not able to try any of the deserts. The staff were all really friendly, and were attentive to our needs. If you are after a decent meal in a quirky setting, Liquor and Loaded is for you!

I have visited Liquor and Loaded a number of times and had a consistently good time. This occupies the lovely old Tudor building on Tower Street (that has previously housed a Café, bakers and a restaurant); it has an interesting kind of rocky steam punk vibe. I would describe the style of the food as an American grilled meat / diner. It’s very good, plentiful and well priced; the burgers are particularly delicious. They are also very accommodating of children. Service was friendly and attentive too; we will be back.

Fantastic place, lovely and friendly, nice and clean, and puddings on display as u walk in was lovely, very eye-catching, and looked fab. Made my mind up was having pudding... but had to take it away as was very full. Great atmosphere and staff were great. Good choice of food and the portions were very good size. Very unique place... It's definitely worth a visit I'm looking forward to returning and trying out the meat platter x

I went 2 years ago for a birthday meal and it stuck in my mind from then which brought me back for a second birthday meal. The friendlyness of Rob who was serving us that night was second to none and the food was satisfying also. Rob catered for us so well ensuring even our toddler daughter was well looked out for also and he made sure we all were happy with our experience. I'd recommend going for sure.
