I was very happy with the meal that I had. It was amazing. Well worth the visit. The place was beautiful, the staff were fabulous very highly recommend this place for great value for money. Best food I have had on my visit to England. Thanks guys keep up the amazing job
Our first visit to The Winch for the carvery.
We walked in and we felt incredibly welcome and we're served drinks and seated straight away even though it was busy.
The decor was clean and fresh.
Carvery was one of the best I have ever had anywhere beef, pork and gammon were on offer. I went with the beef and pork. Both were incredible excellently cooked and melted in the mouth.
Our only criticism would be that although perfectly edible the Yorkshire puddings were a little overdone. Even my lad who is a very fussy eater enjoyed the meal.
£7.95 a head well spent will most definitely recommend to others.
Can't understand why this great place was so empty. Great pint,nice surroundings and decor but the highlight had to be the food. I had the lamb shank,my wife the rump steak,both cooked to perfection and good sized portions. The kids chose bangers and mash/cheeseburger from the kids menu and were very happy. 4 meals plus 4 drinks came to just over £40,can't get better than that in my opinion.

We had a Sunday carvery with two drinks £23:50, you are given a table buzzer which will call you when its your turn to get your food, service was prompt, staff polite, tables and area clean and tidy, and the food was good, and typical to be expected, based on the price, service, and the carvery itself which included 3 meats and the usual vegetables we give this a solid 4 stars, would go to 5 if the roast potatoes were not so soft. We will be returning.

Dropped in for the Sunday Carvery not knowing what it would be like and we really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, a choice of 3 meats, yorkshire puddings and a huge selection of veg. Reasonably priced and very friendly service. Carbery open every Sunday from 12.00 to 20.00 and we will definitely be going again and probably quite often too as it's the best carvery we've had in the area for a long time.
Popped in for Sunday carvery while passing through the area. One of the best I've had!! Everything tasted fresh & delicious. Meat was beautifully tender!

Great carvery, very modern decor. The food was great, great selection and very tasty. Good price however the bar man that served my drink did not seem like he wanted to be there. Overall it was a lovely experience.

Really warm, welcoming pub with lovely food and good beer. Had a 10oz steak cooked beautifully (blue) and they arent shy on chips and salad. Perfect end to a long day
Felt very safe with all the measures in place. We had a carvery and it was delicious although it could have been hotter. But then we did go at the end of service.
Excellent Sunday carvery at a great price, friendly staff, only critism - play area not fenced in and is next to busy road, carpark and way in/out, so one of us had to go out with our children all the time. But will definitely be returning 👍
