A great little place, we were staying midweek in the village, so it was quiet. Lovely walks, great parking. Friendly ( inc dogs ) and welcoming.

Landlords come and go for this place having frequented this place for many years now.
One constant is the crowd. When the pubs open the crowds show and always make the crown a place to be.
Opening again soon with new faces and the crowds will return. The FNC - Friday night club -

Chloe and Chris are a stunning couple who deliver nothing but delicious food and great drinks. It’s a homely atmosphere full of lovely people. I can’t stress enough how amazing the food is and the service is phenomenal.

Really friendly publican who make you feel very welcome and makes sure you get the beer and food you like. Nothing is too much trouble and all at a reasonable price for traditional pub food.

Local pub, the landlord and staff are great always friendly and smiling and the food is great.
They have gone over and above to make us feel welcome, and serve my favourite.. Apple pie and custard.... Its clean tidy and a great place to unwind, in the summer there's places to sit with fantastic views along the river.

Stopped here for a bite to eat on a Wednesday. Brilliant staff, so friendly and accomadating with the children. Particularly liked meeting Loki, a very beautiful "puppy"
Food was good, my son rated the chips 11/10 so high praise indeed.
Outstanding views over the river as the sun went down.
Really reccomend visiting if you're passing. Probably the best people I've ever met to run a pub.

Good portion size.
Nice friendly atmosphere.
I can't comment on range of drinks as it's only ever soft drinks for the wife and I.
We have been three times all equally good.
