We held our wake here and received helpful advice from lovely staff who gave us confidence in their ability to host a wake even though we had to arrange it from 3 hours away. The buffet was perfect for the occasion at a good price point. Having a bar allowed a sad occasion to feel a little more like a celebration and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

We only just discovered this place. We did not eat but will return. Looks a great place for events parties weddings etc. Also in a short distance from Bawsey Park with amazing lakes and walk.

Great lunch. We took our French friends there after visiting bawsey Park. Sheltered area for the dogs, and Kelly was outstanding. An independent pub trying it best. Needs support and can only get better. Keep up the good work. See you again soon

We had an excellent family meal in the function room. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The food was superb and we would have no hesitation in recommending the Sandboy really pleasent experience.

We only stopped here for drinks. Staff very friendly. Service at the bar was excellent. My sister asked what gin they had. The lovely lady at the bar must have come up with more than six options. Settled on a local gin

A full 5 stars. We recently had a get-together to celebrate the life of a dear friend.
Kat and her staff did an excellent job.
All arrangements before hand and handled very professionally. The food supplies were as quoted and plenty of it. Made a sad day better. Highly recommended. Thanks Kat.

What a gem. Food was exceptional and portions were very large. Hostess's customer care was outstanding and made us feel like good friends. The locals too were really friendly. Put The Sandboy on your bucket list.

What a wonderful place, very warm and welcoming. They were incredibly helpful in meeting the dietary needs of one of our party, creating a completely off menu meal for them. Also, their vegan shepherds pie was one of the tastiest plates of food (vegan or not) that I have ever eaten. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
