Not a bad pub considering it's right in the town centre. Our night out however, was ruined by an over zealous 'doorwoman' that grabbed our friends pint and smashed it on the path then threw him out, all because he got too close to the door with his glass, he was just trying to get a phone signal to tell his wife when to pick him up. So thanks security. You spoiled a good night.
Music was amazing, dance floor was full such a good atmosphere. Let down was very slow service on drinks which the staff were trying their hardest to keep on top. Toilets were not good there was only one ladies loo able to use as one had the toilet seat laying on the floor. Plenty of seating around for us oldies and tired feet š
Incredible pub just brilliant amazing atmosphere and clientele never felt more at homeā¦ except on the sofa with a bag of doritosā¦ š¤£š. I love eating doritos at home on the sofa. Thatās where I feel safest.
Great beer an service. Bloody good beer prices as well. Lovely big outdoor area
Seemed quite cheap. Not a bad place really.
Friendly good bar staff good management.
Popped in for a couple of pints decent beer cheap and pucker staff
Ni e pub to relax in afternoon for few drinks
A chain pub with an absolutely huge, partly covered garden, if you're into sports this is the place to be as there are TV screens on pretty much every wall it's almost like wallpaper. The drinks selection wasn't the best but it was a Monday which meant there were a few things off the menu due to stock running out over the weekend. I'm not usually a massive fan of Stella but with the lack of selection I went for it and it was a surprisingly good, crisp serve. The bartender lady was super friendly and was still delivering drinks out to the (covered) garden even during a monster flash flood rain storm, true commitment to the cause, the woman deserves a pay rise!
Spacious bar and smoke area. Wide selection of drinks reasonable price and good music ( at least I think so)
