The Pizza Slice Guy

First time I’ve had pizza from here, it was absolutely delicious! Not really a pizza fan generally but that’s just me. That said I would definitely get a pizza from here again should I find myself in the area. Very friendly staff member even though he’s stuck in the back of the van all day bless him!

Went for a pizza with my son and partner on Friday evening. It was the best pizza I have tasted in a very long time! The base was light crispy and very tasty. The tomato sauce was rich and well seasoned, great toppings and delicious cheese. We will be back. The best pizza in this town and beyond. Knocks other pizza places in town out of the ball park. If you want a real pizza, then you should go here. I ordered 3 pizzas (and a side sauce), and all 3 were perfectly cooked. Sauce = 10/10 Base = 9/10 Toppings = 9/10 The tomato sauce is perfect. Not too sharp, not too sweet (like some famous takeaways do), and was the star of the pizza. The base was excellent as well, lovely chew to it, a nice crust that had some bite, and a good amount of charring to give a different flavour to the base. The toppings were great, the cheese to sauce ratio is spot on, and on the other pizza, the toppings were just right, not overflowing but not skimping. The pizza was so good, that it didn't need the side of sauce (although that did taste great as well) - thick, not watery, lovely amount of garlic and herbs. I can't recommend them highly enough, the staff were polite and friendly as well. A local restaurant, with a genuine passion for pizza it seems. I had the Amtrak pizza and 2 of the 'It happened in the Bronx'. There are no photos as it was eaten as soon as I got home. Maybe next time...
