The Rose & Crown

We came for lunch after exploring Kings Langley and we can confirm it's a really amazing restaurant - our waiter was a lovely lady that helped us choose main meals and match it with wine and the chef did an amazing job - the combination of taste that me and my wife received were extraordinary; my pregnancy wife (being quite picky right now) said it's best she tasted since long time. Fully recommend, 5 stars 🤩

great food, amazing atmosphere. We hosted some relatives from overseas and the staff were so accommodating to everyone. A group of 10 and the staff made us so welcoming, taking photos and filling our drinks throughout the night! Special shout-out to our waitress Nic who made us feel so welcome, and Gabriella and Ed who stayed late so we could have a few extras drinks and some coffees well after the end of service.

Lovely meal, lovely atmosphere & great service. On the night we went it was very busy but the staff handled it well. Some of the food was not available due to it being busy since lunchtime, luckily our choices were available, but there was a longish wait for our main meal to be delivered. Our waitress, Nicky, was very attentive & apologised for the delay. Will definitely go back.

I came to dine with my mother today and was very satisfied with everything, especially with Gabriella's service. We both got the 3 course lunch for £22.50, and for what we paid, it was incredibly worth it. The starter was very nice and refreshing, I got the one with chili and the spiciness was just right. The fish and chips was very tasty, and the tartar sauce that came with it perfectly matched both the cod and the chips. And finally, the ice cream and brownie was spectacular, perfect consistency and texture. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Very pleasant surroundings with a good atmosphere. The food was good and value for money. The only thing that let it down was that there were quite a few items on the menu that were unavailable. The best thing about our visit to the Rose & Crown was Nicky our waitress for the evening, she was helpful, friendly, funny and everything was done with a smile. Thank you Nicky.

The first time here, the roast dinner was very yummy, very filling! Was a bit odd how I got a rectangular plate (which there was a little space to move my food), and my friend had a circular plate. But I always need to have a dessert and a cuppa tea after the big meal!! All staff were welcoming and lovely people.
