Visited The Persian before the huge game between Hull City and the mighty Ipswich Town.
The Owner was really friendly and offered to guide us through the Menu. The food itself was fantastic. Really good quality and for a reasonable price.
Will definitely return next time I'm in Hull.

Used to be a regular with the old owner until he hit some trouble with quality. Was slow to return , but the new ownership has certainly made it even better , the lamb bhandari is better than any lamb curry in this region ( I am Indian ) - fantastic

Cannot be MORE pleased with our visit to The Persian. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated. Last minute I asked if they had any birthday cake for my mum, and they got some especially for her. The food was delicious, I was happy with the selection of vegetarian options they had, and the quality of it. Honestly the best persian food I’ve had!!

Excellent restaurant, very friendly and welcoming, the bread was fluffy, starters were very tasty and main course mixed kebab was amazing 👏. Ali went above and beyond cooking beautiful tender meats and making me and my better half feel completely welcome. I highly recommend this place 5 stars 🌟 kind regards Steve

We ordered mixed kebab and ghorme sabzi. They were both amazing. It tasted exactly like Home. There were also torshi, yoghurt and shirazi salad and kashk bademjoon and everything was great.
The atmosphere is lovely and romantic.

Had a great experience dining at the restaurant. Tried Kobdeih on the recommendation of the staff. Cooked to perfection and piping hot.
It smelled so fresh. Loved it! Will come again and highly recommend.

First visit today, what can I say? The owner was so attentive and spent the time to explain the menu and even offered a taster of one of the meze dishes.
the food - wow such flavour profiles and fanatic they offer a BYOB service. I was able to pair a fantastic Lebanese red with our meal (from Aldi if anyone's interested).
will be back!
