Meze

I booked in Meze again a week ago for my wifes early birthday meal for Sunday 17/3/24 @1pm and from arriving to leaving as always it was perfect and the young waitress who looked after us was first class and her etiquette was also 1st class,The food OMG was flavoursome cooked perfectly and tasted exquisite I had the seafood main and the best cooked as always Thank you all for such a fantastic experience et again love from Russ and Gina Shepherd x

Spacious restaurant with free parking on the back side . But serving size was small and hence felt pricy for the portion size. Halal. Meat moussaka - Lamb with potato and veges not done right at all though ! Used stale vegetables in it. But Levrek - sea bass fish was good but bland ( had a nice spicy sauce served with it so that elevated the taste)

We were away in Hull for the week and fancied something different and what a find this was! Beautiful food, quick service and the waiter was very polite and attentive. My husband had the lamb shank and said it was so nice he felt like it entered his blood stream! I had the Lamb meatballs which were tasty and fresh. Will definitely come back if we are in Hull again and gutted we only found this on the last night, otherwise we would have eaten here every night!

Came to Meze on a whim as we were staying close by and it looked good. Absolutely brilliant decision as we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Great social distancing throughout the restaurant as well which is obviously massively important at this time. As a couple we have eaten various Mediterranean cuisines over the years but only really had the kebab side of Turkish cooking. Really glad that we decided to try it. After arriving and ordering a drink (Turkish beers of course) we were treated to a free lahmacun by the owner, great hospitality!! Then I ordered Turkish Sausage and my wife Lamb's liver for starters, both were really lovely and flavoursome. For mains I ordered Tavuk & Kuzu Shish (yeah kebab, I know, but totally different to the Friday night variety) and my wife Ispanakli Tavuk. Both dishes again were really delicious. If you're in the area I really recommend giving this restaurant a try.

I would honestly have to say that this restaurant is by far easily the best in Hull! Every time we come here we are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome! The service from all the staff is truly amazing, they genuinely cannot do enough for you! The food here is WOW!! Everything from the cold starters to the mains are fantastic! I mainly get the kebabs, they are always cooked to perfection, I’ve never had an under or over cooked kebab here!! The bead and dips that’s they serve are so fresh, and always have that “just made” taste! To be truthful there really isn’t anything I wouldn’t recommend having! I really can’t wait to go back!
