We recently hosted our wedding party at Papa's and are far beyond elated that we did. From initial request, no detail was too big or small. If we hadn't thought of something, Chloe and Rob suggested it and offered a solution.
On the day itself, Sophie and Cameron looked after us from morning til evening, ensuring perfect running order and seamless service. They prepared the restaurant and tables as requested, setting all the details just right. On arrival, the guests were offered a comfy seat and drinks whilst waiting for us, the main couple. After settling in, we all ordered our food and drinks via table service - something requested in addition to the norm - and everyone was happy. The food was spectacularly fresh, as always, and exactly the quality and quantity we've become accustomed to from Papa's; they're not award-winning without reason! After the meal, a toasting drink was served to each guest and the mood calmed to allow for speeches, photos and cake. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and we can truly thank the whole team for their effort to make the day special. Oh, the fish and chips shop, where the food is great, And the service from Sarah is simply first-rate. The fish is so fresh, the batter so light, And the chips are golden, crispy, and just right.
Sarah greets you with a smile, so warm and kind, And takes your order with a patient mind. She's always happy to help, and goes the extra mile, To make sure your meal is perfect, and you're left with a smile.

Sarah, Billie, and Sophie served me in the takeaway this afternoon, they were all very chatty and wanted to know how my day was. Customer service here is always great! The food was also absolutely amazing, perfect chips from their gluten free range. The takeaway was also very clean and tidy, adding to the already homely environment.

I was here for my son and new son-in-laws wedding celebrations on the 5th November.
What can I say .... exclusive use for us for the evening, the service was just perfect and they took time to listen to what was wanted. The tables were set just as they were asked for and even stored the cake until it was put out just before we got there.
The table service given was just perfect (this is not something that is normally provided).
Sophie and Cameron were happy to help in any way .. happy polite and just an absolute credit to the restaurant. Your manager should be very proud of what you all achieved on the day.. this includes the staff working in the kitchen .. the food was just lovely.
If anyone is looking for somewhere for a small intimate place for a wedding celebration, then I can certainly recommend this place.

We had an amazing takeaway experience at Papa's Fish and Chips in Bilton! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service provided by Sophie and Kaci was outstanding. They were friendly, efficient, and made sure our order was perfect. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the chips were crispy and flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended!
Came to visit and the takeaway food was amazing! Served by Suzy and Sophie, two polite and extremely helpful girls. They made my visit pleasant and enjoyable. All round amazing food and even better service, will definitely be coming again Thank you both x
Food was plentiful in supply. Definitely enough for me and I can eat lol.
Quality was good and also ordered b+b and filter coffee.
Everything cooked to order, so a short 7/8 minute wait was fine.
Table service was by the lovely Sarah who couldn't be faulted at all.
Cost £15.00 for huge portion of fish n chips with side, bread n butter and coffee.
You can buy cheaper but the restaurant is nice and justified the charge.
Went to Papas Bilton for family tea and can say we was not disappointed at all!! Young man serving was so polite and helpful. We wasn’t sure what we wanted, but with a few helpful suggestions and recommendations it made it a lot easier. The poor lad was up and down back and forth trying to do everything and may I just say absolutely SMASHING IT. Not only that my dad has a stutter, and finds it difficult to talk sometimes. We left very happy and he said he felt seen because despite how busy it was he engaged in cheerful conversation and really made an effort to try and understand what my dad was trying to say. Food was so so good, the curry and gravy are the best in Hull. If it was down to the food we’d definitely be back but it’s the service and staff that makes papas stand out. Thank you and please let that young lad know we really appreciated his kindness
