We went in as a group of 8, opening time 12pm sat 14th dec, although not many in at this early time I thought it was a cracking place. The bar staff especially a young pregnant woman were very talkative and up for a laugh, asking where we were from and our plans for the day, I know they weren't busy but she made the effort, well done 👍

I went with a large number of people to celebrate, we had the set menu, the food was delicious, the service excellent, highly recommended, but watch out for the service charge!

A real gem in Hull. The food is wonderful and the staff is both attentive and efficient. Asked for a special Italian dish (Putanesca) not on the menu, and they were delighted to prepare it for me. It came out perfect. My guests both had fish and they raved about it. If you like Italian, you will find no better place in Hull than at Paolo's.

We had a fantastic meal, we both had fish dishes and the fish was cooked beautiful and could tell it was very fresh! Would highly recommend. Service was brilliant and staff very friendly! Not expensive for such good quality food! You pay for what you get!!

We had our wedding meal here. It was so lovely. The food was amazing the staff are so lovely. They could not do enough to help and make us happy...we are going back every anniversary.. I can not say enuoght about this place....everyone was happy and enjoyed the service and food. .... they made our day xxxx
