Chiquito

Like the food here, lots of selection and reasonably priced, they have an offer menu for two or three courses. They also are part of compare the market meet at deal and do NHS discount. Not everything is spicey and have quite a few choices in sauces/flavours from BBQ, mild to get spicey. Been a few times, food has mostly been very nice, a couple times only had minor issues like some of the food was a bit cold and taking a long time to get the food, but would recommend. I do miss their hot baked cheese though, it's not been on the menu for some time, but it was the reason I kept going back!

We had a lovely evening tonight. I took my daughter as a treat due to getting outstanding results in her GCSE'S. The staff were so friendly and happy to chat. They asked what my daughter wants to be leaving college, she said she wanted to be a vet but working with bigger animals like elephants. After having a gorgeous tasty meal, a dessert was brought out and the chef had made an elephant out of brownie This made a perfect night for my daughter! It's been a long time since we last visited here. But wish we had been back sooner. I went with my, son and son in law. The place is very well presented, tables and booths. With a bar area. For starters we had nachos with chicken, salsa and guacamole. Hot habernaro chicken strips. Crispy Halloumi bites, and torpedo prawns. With accompanying sauces. We all had a bit of each, and they were all delicious. For mains. My wife had chicken quesidelas with skin on fries. I had chicken and ribs with bbq sauce, fries and onion rings. The boys had classic chicken fajitas with all the added extras, and beef chilli tacos. For desserts we had, toffee popcorn brownie, chocolate coconut lava cake, churros and the golden nugget cheesecake. We all again tried a bit of each. My fav was the cheesecake. We had vurgin colada, rekorderlig, j2o and beers to wash it all down with. Our waitress was perfect. Very helpful and explained the food to us. A very pleasant meal. Would highly recommend it. And the tech savvy boys had an app which knocked £35 off the final bill, happy days.

We have been to a number of Chiquitos restaurants and can say this has by far the best quality. The staff are friendly and quick to help with any queries and requests. The food came out fresh, hot, and exactly as described on the menu. We had the Garlic and Cheese tortilla to start which is always our favourite. For drinks we both got bottled drinks. They were slightly chilled, would have liked them to be a lot colder, but it didn't distract from the whole experience. I had a Texas Stack burger. Good amount of cheese. Could have done with some more sauce on the burger for my liking but everyone is different. The burger needed to be seasoned more, tasted a bit bland unfortunately but it was piping hot so not going to complain. All in all a great experience and we will be coming back :)
