This place surprised us; a chain pub but the food and service were excellent. We had the mixed grill, sea bass, and chicken pie. All very nice at a decent price. Obviously, it is marked down on atmosphere with kids running around and a very modern setting ... but hey, it's a generic family pub after all.
We went today for New Year’s Eve Sunday lunch. Service was excellent and Sunday roast was lovely. Staff to very attentive too. Will return for sure
The beach tree is a very popular pub. There is a very wide range of beers, lagers, and cider, including four hand-pulled cask, conditioned real ales. The ones I tried were excellent. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food is very good. They also have some excellent live entertainment. I've seen some great bands here. There are not many food orientated pubs with such a good selection of real ales.
