Great food and the staff very helpful and polite , well worth a visit

Our first time at The Blacksmiths Arms and it wont be our last. Popped in on a weekday lunchtime and the place was quite busy but the young girl found us a table and brought our drinks.
I noticed they served a special for smaller appetites so went for the small fish, chips and peas. My uncle had the same and my partner had the Greek flatbread. The fish and chips are the best I have tasted in a long time and was more than enough for us, so glad I didn't get the large. My partner raved about her meal and even before we got home was asking when we are going again.
The service was friendly and efficient, the ale was good and the food was top notch. Well done Chef.

We were so impressed with this restaurant. We were found a table when they were really busy without a booking, the food came really quick, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. 5 stars on all counts

Its is a lovely place to eat. The pub itself has a lovely atmosphere, the decor is quite modern inside.There is soo much choice on the menu. We had between us, lamb tikka, which was amazing, chicken ala creame with crushed garlic potatoes & veg, steak sandwich which our friend had & highly praised it, & salmon & prawn linguini which again was beautiful. The sweets were to die for, I had raspberry cheese cake & I can honestly say it was the most delicious I've ever tasted, our friends had lemon meringue pie with raspberry icecream & sticky toffee pudding, absolutely huge portion. All in all, a very pleasant experience & we will definitely be going back again.

Lamb 'Henry' and the Aubergine Dhal curry were absolutely delicious! Perfect spot for dinner after a day walking. Staff were really lovely too. The front panelled room with the fireplace is the best room so request to sit there if you can!

Went as part of a party of 11 including a toddler with multiple allergies. Nothing on kids menu was suitable so they made a suitable alternative which went down very well. Excellent service and food was delicious. Would highly.recommend.

A very nice surprise as very modern inside. A busy pub/restaurant with a nice selection of well cooked traditional dishes. Portions are good, tasty food and very friendly staff, plus not a wallet buster.

It was a 70th birthday meal. The food was excellent considering that there were 21 people to serve, no one had to wait and all food was hot and cooked to a high standard. Will definitely return.
