The Pavilion Cafe

Not allowed to use your own mug for some reason. Needed to tip contents into my mug at the counter. Sorry I spilt some. I need own mug as I have arthritis in my hands. It easier for me. I really do not mind washing my mug when I get home. Sorry if that offened the cafe. My mug comes with Me to all eateries with no problems.

As a family, we have several severe allergies between us and often don’t bother eating out. We decided to visit the Pavilion Cafe, mentioned the specific allergens and the server reappeared very quickly with the most knowledgeable gentleman. Instead of the usual ‘what do you want and I’ll tell you if I can do it’ approach, he explained how they accommodate allergies through their choices - soya free bread, milk free spread etc. There was no trouble in switching the children’s meal deal items and he could do so without relying on reading labels. He clearly communicated our dietary needs to the person preparing the dishes too. We felt safe and were able to enjoy a meal out without just opting for chips or crisps and a drink. Very much a curates egg. Hugh potential impressive location, nice looking building and beautiful fountains and ponds There was a very long queue but it was lunch time. The food very nice service but rushed but they were very busy. The externals were scruffy with litter, debris and worse in the ponds. There was something floating in a pond that could have been a dead rodent. There was lots of litter around that detracted from the very nice location. There are toilets on site which were clean and well maintained. There seems to be a library it was not open when we visited. Staff helpful despite how busy they were

A fantastic atmosphere. Lovely Staff always polite and positive. There do amazing oat milk lattes and the vegan blueberry muffins are delicious. Tables are always cleaned when customers have finished. A lot of positive comments about Pavilion cafeteria, and some negative. 5 Stars ⭐️ for the hard work the staff put into making Pavilion Cafeteria welcoming. One of my favourite places.
