Visited tonight, ordered a small fish and a large fish & chips. The large fish looked more medium & the chips a bit on the shy side. Fish was cooked nice but just disappointed on size of fish, the chips were a little too pale for me. …
Very nice polite chatty staff, food was spot on, jumbo sausage was massive and juicy, chips cooked just right and the gravy was just how I like it, very good experience, many thanks
Just been to collect fish and chips and first time trying sue downs. Absolutely amazing and the homemade tartare sauce is a lovely extra added touch. Highly recommend and cannot wait to return!

An excellent quality fish and chips shop. Very clean, good quality fish always nicely cooked. The staff are very friendly they also sell their own traditional Hull patties, fish cakes, and sausage. The spam fritters are excellent. There is some outside seating.
Ordered a large fish and chips and reg. Arriving home my partner and i could not see any diff in size bwtween them. Poor
Great chips and lovely service, certainly in my top 10 chippie this year
