Junkyard Cafe Bar

From the outside it looks like a bit of a grim concrete towerblock but once you're in and up to the restaurant you'll be impressed. Really cool place, restaurant commands great views and they have a roof top terace which is great in the summer. Food and drinks are great and the staff are very good too. Really enjoy coming here and would recommend to anyone.

Booked Junkyard for my wife’s birthday. Never been before. Location is out of the way and entry via multiple businesses bit strange. On entry impressed with the setting and views over the city. Menu limited but quality of food excellent and well presented. Staff couldn’t be faulted. Really enjoyed the night and will definitely go back again

Ate here last night. Food excellent, lovely waitress, beautiful decor, music blaring out as though it's a nightclub? At one stage we were the only people in , as we booked for an early meal and even then the music was too loud, we politely asked the waitress could it be turned down as we were shouting across the table to each other. She kindly said she would, 20 minutes later when it was even louder!? we asked her had she remembered and we were told that the answer from the guy behind the bar was, NO. Mmmm? Must have forgotten to attend his customer service course maybe? By the time more tables were occupied the whole place was having to speak louder than you normally would have to above the music and everyone else who were raising their voices. Strange, I checked the website and it is definitely advertised as a restaurant and not a music venue. Shame as everything else was excellent but I won't be visiting again if that is the attitude.

You know that feeling when you stumble upon something by chance? In this case it was gold. Me and my family randomly picked a place to eat on Google while in town from Sweden. And we couldn't have picked a better spot. The food was excellent and staff was very inviting. Portion size was well within expectations for the prices. Will definitely come back.

An amazing place above Hull which is definitely hidden gem of a place. The waitress was kind and gave us enough time to look at the menu and order, alas after taking our order advising what wasn't available. Thankfully we hadn't decided on those. The food was delicious and the views were exceptional. Really nice mood, good music and amazing food.
