Great characterful cafe wirh lovely relaxed atmosphere. Coffee comes nice and hot, not lukewarm like some places. I highly recommend the scrambled eggs, very tasty, and proper freshly baked bread for sale. Whats not to like! Will definitely return.

Great staff, great atmosphere, coffee is 10/10. Start doing beans with the breakfasts and this place will be next level.

We found this place as shelter from a sharp shower of rain. Friendly guys running it, great tea & cakes and a good feel. Loved the coffee sack ceiling design too. Plus look out for the loaves of bread they sell.

Lovely place … amazing sandwiches, generous portions, reasonably priced and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Came across this place on a wet Sunday afternoon in Hull's Old Town. Excellent selection of lit bites at a very reasonable price in a small, welcoming, bespoke environment.

Popped into the Wonky Tulip on a Sunday walk around the old town , been meaning to do for ages and today was the day !
I ordered the Croque Madame which is a ham & cheese toastie with discs of fried bread on top and fried eggs and a side salad !
This is the first time I've had it and I'll sure be having it again , one of the best brunches I've had in a long time !
The dish in the background is poached eggs with mushrooms on seeded bread ( shop made btw ) which apparently was also delicious!

Very nice place. Worth a visit.
I just popped in for toast and a drink. The bread was delicious - seeded, thick slice toast with salted butter and very nice homemade jam.
One of the few places to do loose leaf mint tea by the teapot.
Very friendly staff, and a lovely place to sit in and relax.
Will be going back. This area of the City is a gem.
The time I arrived there was the setting up of a film shoot going on down the High Street.

Off the beaten track, this little coffee house is delightful. Although a small wait, their BLT sandwich was amazing. Who knew fried bread worked well in a BLT sandwich. My god. Amazing. Fresh ingredients. All cooked there and then. Really quaint little place that I'm glad I came across and the pricing isn't as steep as some places. Really well made. Lovely addition to Hull.
