Staff are friendly with positive attitude.
I ordered the two-course lunch with calamari and sea bass for £15 plus a glass of white at £6.5🤔 which is reasonable.
But it would be better to have more sauce for the sea bass.
It’s enjoyable to be seated by the window and have a nice river view.

Great Saturday night at this Côte: superb service, from beginning to end! In spite of the fact that it was super busy, given the warm weather. The restaurant guests were also serenaded by a local jazz singer. Perfect evening by the river!😎☀️🍹🍽️😋
Even though they ran out of the chicken liver pâté, I liked everything although I would have liked the entrée to also include fig coulis, (as it was a bit on the dry side)... and the crème brûlée which was a bit on the bitter side (Too brûlée...), but this was rectified in the end.

I love this place so much, Côte is one of my favourites. I had the fougasse and tomato soup, beautiful food made with love and care. Their fresh mint tea with honey is lovely, the honey is one of the best ones I ever tasted!🍯
We were staying several nights at Kingston upon the Thames and walked along the riverfront one evening looking for someone to have dinner and decided to give Cote a try.
It was early dinner, and not too busy. We choose an outside patio table as the weather was decent and had a nice view of the river and people walking by.
Our server was fairly new, but did his best to take care of us, sometimes asking for help from others when he was not sure. Overall the service was quite good.
We had french onion soup and capers for appetizer. Both tasty and served promptly. For mains we had the Chicken and Salmon, both quite delicious. For dessert the creme brulee and berries with ice cream.
Towards the end it was getting quite busy, so I'm glad we went early. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing meal and good value. Definitely recommend it.

I originally posted a very critical review here as I used to love this place but recently I was disappointed especially by the eggs royale. I went back and had excellent veggie breakfast served quickly by a team of very friendly waiters. Happy to recommend again

Glad we booked as they were queuing up to get in. Very busy at times. Great atmosphere and a good choice of food on the menu. Portion sizes are good and there are meat free options available. Drinks list has many options and reasonable priced wines. Good service kept up to date with what was going on. Must try the crepes with espresso martini cream.
