Wildwood

We ordered a deliveroo at 9.20pm, and unfortunately when the driver arrived he dropped all our food on the floor due to the bag being ripped and soaked. The driver didn't want to help and left us with no food. I called the restaurant and explained what had happened and the manager Sagar was extremely helpful and remade us the food and even delivered it back to us using an uber. He was polite, calm, helpful and honestly the best customer service I have ever recieved in a very long time. He even called to ensure we recieved the food. I can not thank him enough, he is a true asset to the business and had saved us. I'm so grateful and would highly recommend this place with such a caring manager. Can I just add it was the tastiest meal we've ever had in a long time - we regularly order from wildwood and this was by far the best experience we have had. thank you Sagar. We appricate you.

The food here has a great variety, from grills to pasta to pizza and seafood/vegetarian options - there’s food for everyone! The drinks could have been a bit more chilled but also had a great variety. Dessert definitely topped it off! The cookies & cream cheesecake was my favourite. Considering we got a drink each, 2 starters to share, a main each and dessert each, all which totalled to approx £35pp (4 people), I’d say is very reasonable! Definitely left feeling full as well.

Food was great, everything was clean and tidy. I loved that there is a vegan lasagna as this is hard to find on menus in the area and one of my favourites. Also clearly labelled vegan options across the board. Only thing that could have earned that 5th star was if the service side was a bit more friendly (I found it bland, not rude) and if there wasn’t a wait for some of our meals. There was an issue at the end and some of us had to wait around for 10 mins just to pay for the last meal which was inconvenient.

So hip! I loved the atmosphere and the vibe of this place! We were seated right away even though we didn't have a reservation (how lucky we were!). Very friendly and knowledgeable waitress, whose recommendations were spot on! We were feeling like a pasta dinner, so we got the spaghetti carbonara, a baked ziti with mushrooms and a phenomenal sauce, and then there is the mushroom risotto! All really good! The pana cotta was amazing and the apple pie with the custard sauce was delicious! I would highly recommend this place! A definite must!

Well every now and then your find a gem and wildwood hits the bill !!! Service was very quick and attentive . I had the calamari for starters and the classic burger for mains the calamari was lightly seasoned as it should be fresh and vibrant the burger was cooked to perfection with fabulous quality beef seasoned again perfectly . Home made fries are perfectly cooked . My wife and daughter had pasta dishes and they said the flavours were so intense and aromatic .. Highly highly recommended and don't let that kitchen team leave you have keepers there !!!.
