Had a lovely evening at Browns it was my anniversary which I celebrated with my partner. From start to finish Sergio my waiter was very attentive looked after me and my wife very well. Very happy with the food was very fresh and arrived hot. Thanks for a lovely evening. Will definitely return. Nice little treat for us for our anniversary at the end too

I went with my friend. The food was fresh and delicious We were delighted. My dining experience at Browns was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel comfortable. Recommended
Good food and drinks, friendly service and reasonably priced. Nice location by the river and if its sunny then its nice to sit outside. We just came for a drink and a light bite to eat. We both had the Mushrooms on Sourdough starter which was very tasty. And to drink, we had the Elderflower Fizz and Elderflower Sherbert virign cocktails which were lovely and refreshing.

Loved Brown's today! Lovely Riverside restaurant, nice river view, linen tablecloths and napkins.
We hadn't planned to call in so were maybe more casual than we might have otherwise been! We were welcomed wholeheartedly, made to feel relaxed and at home despite not having a meal.
Excellent deserts, nice tea- using tea leaves and strainer: friendly unstuffy service that made us feel special. V impressed and will definately return!
Amazing food (the hot chocolate had an interesting taste in a good way) didn’t have to wait that long ,lots of different options to choose from in world wore this place is great and plus you get a beautiful view of the river the service is quick and easy I would go again.
Food was overall nice- meat a little overcooked but enjoyed nevertheless. Wine and salad were fab! The person who served our table (Izzy i think it was!) was super friendly and made dining experience much much better ☺️
Service and food were v good. Outside tables were difficult to navigate as one of us had a walking stick/mobility issues. Noticed wheelchair user having issues too. Portions were quite small even though food was tasty! Waiter was really good. Lovely day and a lovely setting. We weren't rushed at all.
From the booking to the service we received we had a lovely relaxing evening at Browns. We were served by Costas who was amazing. He looked after us so well, nothing was too much trouble and I noticed he was just as attentive to other customers and friendly to his team. He is an excellent Manager

We had such a lovely time yesterday! Thank you for this experience. I enjoyed your cocktails and amazing food! I highly recommend this place for any event. The Only 1 thing I was little bit disappointed was burger dish presentation. There was salad missing to go with it and chips were just too casually on the plate. I would suggest to create something better. @silviadeegon
Celebrated my birthday with cocktails, drinks and bar food. Cocktails were lovely and service was prompt and very friendly.

We were greeted with a smile and sat at a lovely window table even though we arrived 30 minutes early.

My review is based purely on service. The front of house team at this restaurant are absolutely superb. We had one particularly excellent staff member called Carlos. He solved an issue we had with a level of professionalism and efficiency that deserves commendation. A gentleman called Sergio made our experience even more enjoyable. Clearly the person hiring knows what type of person makes a good server.

We walked in for a late lunch (4.30pm) and they seated us by a lovely window seat facing the river. They had a weekend special set for 2 people to share 'surf and turf', which consisted of a whole lobster and two 7oz fillet steaks with 2 fries, watercress salad and 2 sauces (we went for pepper corn). This was absolutely delicious!
The waitress was incredibly attentive, knew about all the dishes served and had suggestions when asked. I informed the waitress that I wasn't confident in shelling a whole lobster, and she kindly made sure the chef was aware of this, it was very easy to eat the lobster and I was very happy about this. The steak was delicious too and cooked beautifully. Lovely romantic atmosphere, all the guests were keeping conversations to a polite noise level.
We were both full with this main dish, but would like to come back to try their different dishes and hopefully have some room spare for their desserts, as they sounded lovely.
Would happily come back here again and fully recommend. 10/10
The setting and location is great. Front of house reserved a table for us inside even though we booked an outside table, she took in account the weather, as it was a bit cool and made a great decision. We sat inside! The food was great. Big potions for the Sunday roasts. But we took away our left overs. The service was good, although our waitress could have been slightly more attentive. We had our finished plates sat in on the table for a long time before they were cleared.
The restaurant was very busy which is great. The live music / pianist was really good although a tad bit loud, not sure if there is lower volume for pianos. The ambiance was great.
