I love Thai food...... I find the food at this restaurant just perfect.
It is located in Kingston town centre, not very easy to find but it is located on Old London road.
The chicken / prawn green curry rice along with egg fried rice or sticky rice is simple amazing. The other set meals they serve are perfect as well.
Just the right amount of spice and flavour blend together and taste perfect.
The dessert they serve specially the lemon or coconut sorbet is yummy, it simply melts in the mouth. The staff is really sweet and service is quick. Reasonable price and worth it. Thai food lovers its a must must visit.
Very nice Thai food in a slightly quieter street in Kingston.
We were the first people in on a Saturday evening, so the service was very prompt and friendly. We ordered Pad Thai, Grilled Chicken and plain Jasmine Rice — along with a Tiger Lager and some Jasmine Tea.
Pad Thai was very nice, with not much spice, and they did give you the option to add heat with chilli flakes which were on the side of the plate. The grilled chicken had lovely flavour with nice crispy bits of skin, but the salad was fairly spicy.
Definitely recommend if you're into Thai or other Asian cuisines.
Authentic Thai food with the most reasonable price and friendly service in a nice Thai decorated and scented restaurant. Will return for sure.
Was craving for good Thai food and my friend recommended Thai On Thames. First bite of the chicken satay dipped in their curry sauce made me smile as I immediately knew the spring roll and pad see ew with prawns would be great too. I told the lady who served my table how much I enjoyed the meal and extended my gratitude to their Thai chef. It’s the authentic flavor I had during my every visit to their country. Please keep up these cooking!
Amazing food and service. We had three starters corn cakes, fish cakes and chicken satay. For mains, we had chicken pad see ew and grilled chicken with papaya salad. All the dishes very perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. Chicken was moist and flavourful, unlike a lot of other Thai restaurants. Also I like that dishes were not overly sweet. The waitress was also very friendly and attentive. Definitely will be coming back.

Better than few years experience as the shop fixed the floor hole. Food is fine and people are nice. The only thing disappointed me was the Thai beer made in UK but not Thailand even its so called the original Thai beer.
We had such great dinner in the restaurant! The food was so tasty and the staffs were friendly. The environment is clean and cozy. Will definitely be their regular customer 😍😊 (highly recommend the cod, although all the dishes we had was great!)
Had a fantastic meal here just tonight with my partner :) lovely considerate service made us feel very welcome and comfortable not to mention the food which was just perfect; the best Asian cuisine you could get in the whole town in a lovely quieter area! We highly recommend the Thai milk tea, thd calamari, the chicken padthai and the mango sticky rice! Definitely will come back and bring friends and family :)
Thai on Thames is such a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the staff are so lovely. Our favourites are the Pad Thai, massaman curry, fried cod in curry sauce and the calamari! Definitely try this place if you are in the area
Lovely place with amazing food. 3 of us went out tonight and shared lots of different dishes. The mixed starter and massage curry (they changed it for me to chicken) were amazing! It did not say it on the menu but we ordered fried bananas which were the best I have eaten in a long time
