I love this place. ..love their mochi,salmon sushi, sweet and sour chicken, sweet and spicy chicken, gyoza. ..so many more to mention. ..must try if you are around.
My brother and I love this place for take away because they give you large portions and they aren’t expensive. The chicken katsu and teriyaki are beaut. The sweet and sour is good too. I have yet to try the sushi. It’s a very small place so I don’t dine in although they do have outdoor seating as well.
We are always here to take away food as it is convenient. 3 things we always go for - salmon udon soup, chicken katsu curry and the salmon pack.
Really nice food for a really good price, totally worth the money and really good service. The chicken katsu curry is amazing and the staff are able to explain ingredients in the food if you have an allergy to something.

I love love love kokoro and have done for so many years. I always ask for less rice in my bowls because they love to pack the rice in. The portion sizes are amazing. My favourite it the katsu curry and spicy porky! Be ware though, the spicy pork is super spicy 🌶 have been a super fan for years and now they have their own branded aloe which is wonderful to see. Customer service in the Kingston store is super nice and fast and efficient. Always recommend.
Food is the best, honestly, but the lady that served me today was so rude else for no reason. It was so bad. She literally threw napkins on my food when I asked. This happened today 10/10/23 at 11.15 thereabouts
Love the Katsu Curry here. Its a good big portion in regular size. The sushi is also good. Outside sitting is available and good on a nice day. Sometimes the outside area is not clean enough to sit down comfortably.

Kokoro is by far one of the very few place in Kingston that have the decency to offer a solid meal, I am talking about substantial portions for under £10.
Their sweet chilli chicken is very tasty too, flavours are well balanced.
Never felt ripped off and always left with a full belly and satisfied.
Not like many of the neighbouring food places and coffee shops who are selling kids portions dishes at a full adult price.
Well done Kokoro for keeping my hopes alive and my belly full.
The Sweet Chilli Chicken was so good with fresh well cooked rice. But the Beef Bulgogi was really bad.
Polite and efficient staff. Cramped shop but there is outside seating. Spicy chicken is nice. If planning a picnic by the river, buy their gyozas, miso soup and sushi - excellent picnic snacks!
I always get the sushi/katsu combo which I always find tasty. The hot food is also flavourful and the portions generous. I great place to pick up some quick, filling food at a good price. Unfortunately the restaurant feels a little cold and uninviting, but staff warm and welcoming.
Kinda Chinese, but all like the variety taste of chickens. If you are so into Chinese cuisine, of course, have to try at China town in London. But though something is near to the living area, no need to travel a lot. Kokoro is the best one to taste at least once for a while. Have tasted almost three different dishes, but the favorite one is spicy chicken curry either with noodles or rice 🤩!!!! Who loves to try the authentic Chinese dish best suit will be chicken teriyaki 😂!!!!
Takeaway is ok, some of the flavours are quite rich, but worth a second trip
