I wanted to score this place higher. The restaurant is nicely decorated and more "traditional" than contemporary.
The food was OK, just a bit ordinary compared to some of the local competition.

Classic, old-school style tandoori restaurant. We have had many takeaways from here and eat in once every month or so. Takeaway is reliable and good value. I've found it's best to order via their website to access the special offers. The food is best served fresh in the restaurant though and service is very friendly - it's become a real family favourite and we always get a very warm welcome.

A great tandoori restaurant experience: the dishes are full of flavour and presented with a flair rarely seen at such a reasonably-priced venue.
The chicken balti and okra dishes were impressive, but the best was the jaal maal, a specialty chicken curry served on a wide steel hot-plate. Naans and rice were simple but cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and the beers were crisp and cold.
All in all, a hidden gem!
