From the outside it looks like absolutely nothing. Peeling red paint, cringy lunch specials advertised. But forget appearances – this is the real deal and almost at real life Indian prices too! A whole banquet for 9.95; consisting of a starter, main, vegetable side dish and rice or naan. Here size does in no way compensate for quantity. Almost day light robbery. My moral compass even clicked in on paying the tiny, tiny cheque at the end. Everything I ate was delicious, everything special and I was ashamed that this was to my utter shock. Homemade lime pickles in four different varieties including mango. Excellent raita – again, I’m a nightmare about raita – excellent mango chutney. Lamb Samosas which were fresh, incredibly deep with lamb and delicately spiced with cumin, coriander seed and chilli to compliment not complicate. Onion Bajis that were most obviously freshly made, not refried from frozen, and gigantic....

Absolutely amazing food, dishes can be tailored to your needs, just ask. I like my food extra spicy and it never disappoints here.

Classic, old-school style tandoori restaurant. We have had many takeaways from here and eat in once every month or so. Takeaway is reliable and good value. I've found it's best to order via their website to access the special offers. The food is best served fresh in the restaurant though and service is very friendly - it's become a real family favourite and we always get a very warm welcome.

Always a great service, excellent food. Takeaway portions are quite large. The naan bread at the restaurant is so delicious. I do recommend this place if you’re in the area.

I wanted to score this place higher. The restaurant is nicely decorated and more "traditional" than contemporary. The food was OK, just a bit ordinary compared to some of the local competition.

Delicious food, very friendly staff, excellent service! The atmosphere of the place and the magical flavours take you to the fabulous, colourful India. It is a gem, a little piece of orient in Hampton Wick where we are definitely returning. I highly recommend!

A great tandoori restaurant experience: the dishes are full of flavour and presented with a flair rarely seen at such a reasonably-priced venue. The chicken balti and okra dishes were impressive, but the best was the jaal maal, a specialty chicken curry served on a wide steel hot-plate. Naans and rice were simple but cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and the beers were crisp and cold. All in all, a hidden gem!

A rare evening out with my partner (it's hard to find childcare) saw us trying this restaurant after after a recommendation from a friend. We really wanted it to be good as it could be years, literally, before we got out without the kids again. We weren't disappointed! The food was excellent, good portions, delicious flavours, and just the right amount of spice in our respective dishes. The service was excellent, with the waiter's recommendation of beer to go with my curry being spot on! All in all a great experience that made the most of a rare opportunity for us.
