I would like to commend Cassidy on her great hospitality. When I couldn't find the hot sauce she went beyond her job description and brought me out a ramekin full of hot sauce from the kitchen and I was able to thoroughly enjoy my food. I would likely visit this establishment again and recommend this restaurant to anyone in need of a hearty meal in kingston.
Wetherspoon Kingston offers a mixed experience for visitors. On the positive side, the pub boasts a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. The interior design is classic, with a nod to traditional British pubs, and it's well-maintained. The staff is generally friendly and attentive, ensuring prompt service.
However, the dining experience can be hit or miss. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of pub classics, but the quality can vary. Some dishes are well-prepared, while others may fall short of expectations. Prices are reasonable, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious diners.
The pub's beverage selection is a highlight, with an impressive array of beers, ales, and spirits. It's a great place to enjoy a pint with friends.
One downside is the noise level, which can be quite high during peak hours, making conversation challenging. Additionally, the cleanliness of the facilities could be improved.
In summary, Wetherspoon Kingston is a decent choice for affordable drinks and a relaxed atmosphere, but it may not always deliver consistently in terms of food quality and ambiance.
Lovely pub! Very large with a lot of seating. They have two floors and a lift for those who can't navigate the stairs. It is reasonably priced. They have a good selection of beer. The cider is delicious! It's clean. Friendly staff. Good location. The restrooms are clean, large and uncramped, unlike a lot of other pubs I have been to. They have restrooms on both floors so there is no need to navigate to a different level. Will definitely return here.
A cosy pub. As I love Asian food I tried the new chicken curry katsu rice here - although the portion is not really big, it’s yummy with very low price in London with unlimited refill hot drinks!
Overall this is not a bad Wetherspoons pub. Big place with plenty of seating. The food is basic but good value for money. The drinks are also an affordable price. Toilets were kept to a reasonable standard. One young male behind the bar needs a bit more training but generally speaking the bar staff were friendly and worked well.
It is a huge and very popular pub! Service was prompt, food served nice and hot. I think wetherspoons are a a victim of their own success, the pub was so noisy I could not hear my friends talking at the same table! We left early to find a quieter place to catch up.
Nice meal well presented and quick service , cosy seating friendly waiting staff .Good accessable disabled toilet facilities.
Bar service let the experience down staff didn't seem to be trained in range / types of beers / ale available.
This is a great pub, with plenty of atmosphere and charm. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was as your hope from this popular chain and the facilities were well equipped and clean. I'd certainly be happy to return with friends and family.
Great pup, the food was good and the drinks cheap. Came here with some friends and despite how busy it was Clive was exceptional. He truly added to the experience by making us laugh many times. The staff in general was very friendly and attentive, would definitely come back!
Great hidden gem this. Wide assortment of beers that are well priced, great food and excellent service!
I really like this place : there’s a lovely helpful young barman called Ben who resembles Tim Martin. I feel very comfortable in this pub drinking non alcoholic hot drinks all day. This is one of several Wetherspoons that I’ve recently discovered.
