Top Notch Tucker. Located on the historic Woolwich Arsenal, this is a great spot for brunch. Tuck into the fry-up and set yourself up the day. I can warmly recommend the scrambled eggs (with or without bacon) on sourdough, and the sauteed mushrooms, poached eggs and pearl barley is lovely too. On the weekend, there are papers strewn about to invite leisurely lingering.
Great lunch. While I often pop in for a coffee of a morning I was delighted with the summery and generous salad that the Cornerstone cafe offered when I finally decided to get some lunch at this characterful cafe.
It hasn’t taken me long to fill up my first Cornerstone Café loyalty card: nine coffees and the tenth one comes free. I simply keep dreaming up excuses to go there. For example, I’ll deliberately embark on a slower and more-expensive commute to work, via Thamesclipper to Canary Wharf, mainly so I can walk past the café (located on the Arsenal) and collect a takeaway latte and pain au chocolat.
The Cornerstone Café in the heart of the royal arsenal is a relatively new addition to the Woolwich community but as its name suggests it clearly aims to big and important part. They offer a 12% discount to families and have a different home cooked takeaway meal available every night; making sure that even if you crawl home late from work you, don’t have to settle for rubbish. Luckily for me they also have a homemade salad box for £2.50 meaning I can showcase them in this series. The café itself is simply decorated showing off the bare brick and beams that characterise the old arsenal buildings in which the café is housed and nicely mirrors their simple, rustic yet high quality food. They offer a wide variety from scotched eggs to a bejewelled vegetarian terrine. There are also a few shelves full of tasty treats such as Gentleman’s relish and gourmet popcorn just in case you want to take a little bit of deliciousness away with you.
Came in for Sunday dinner last week with family the food was absolutely amazing and the staff were fantastic,very quick in clearing tables and making sure we had absolutely everything we needed,Really welcoming place the staff can’t do enough for their customers.Due to this service it’s quickly become my favourite place to have a drink and food,they show a wide range of sports and they even put a particular game on just for me in one of the small booths as it wasn’t showing on the big screen.Absolutely amazing service all round
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cornerstone, Kingston, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the food. We ordered two roasts, one mushroom pie and the other turkey, and both dishes were presented beautifully. The attention to detail in the plating was evident, and it made the food all the more appetizing.
But what really stood out was the taste. The mushroom pie was rich and savoury, with a perfectly cooked crust. The turkey roast was tender and juicy, and the accompanying sides were well-seasoned and complemented the meat perfectly.
Overall, I would highly recommend Cornerstone Kingston to anyone looking for delicious, high-quality food. The menu has a great variety of options, and the dishes are prepared with care and attention. The ambience of the restaurant is also worth noting, as it creates a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The staff were lovely and I don’t know what his name was (sorry) but he even brought our drinks outside which was so kind and appreciated by the both of us so thank you!
As for the food WOW! we decided on getting 3 plates each to share and everything was absolutely delicious 😋
The only very very small thing was the pitcher of iced tea cocktail it wasn’t strong at all I think because of all the ice in the jug which watered it down.
But other than that everything else was amazing!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cornerstone in the Rotunda with four of my friends. After a very warm welcome at the bar, the staff continued being super helpful and knowledgeable about the food menu offering great recommendations. The dishes were delicious, as were the beer and wine recommendations. We’ll be returning again very soon! Thanks again Team Cornerstone, and a special shout-out to Manager Lucy and Chef Fiona 😃
First visit to Cornerstone, nice pub and staff, with plenty of screens to watch any sports that are on. Had the fish and chips which I enjoyed, look forward to dropping in again next time I'm in Kingston 👍

If I could give this place 20 stars then I would because it is absolutely amazing in this place. The staff is amazing also the food is top quality, I highly recommend to try the chicken wings too!

The Cornerstone Kingston is a warm and friendly pub, the atmosphere is great and the entertainment they have suits all ages. The staff are amazing and work so hard to give the best customer service. Also there food is amazing and have a really high standard. I would highly recommend this pub for a night out.
